Recieved item in good time. Opened it up. Honestly looked great! Perfect size for the shelf in my daughter’s room. Seemed completely adequate for the Beta fish. Got it set up, filled with treated water above the minimum line and started it up. We wanted to have it run for a day or 2 before adding the fish, to make sure it was good.First day it was nice and quiet, and my daughter loved the color changing led lights. By day 2 the filter pump started making a fairly loud buzzing, and rattling noise. Checked to make sure it was clean cycled the pump on and off a few times to see if it would stop. No such luck. Still moved and filtered the water. But the noise won’t stop. Can’t imagine any fish would be happy listening to that buzzing and rattling all day. Seems defective.It worked great for the first day. So I have some quality concerns in terms of longevity.My review would have been much better if it had worked properly. Because I appreciate the design, and the fact that the pump was located in the lid, allowing more usable space in the tank for the fish. But even when looking for replacement filters, and parts, it was hard to find anything at all for it.
