Quieter than my fridge! And the kitties love it.
First impression is a good one!I just put this together today, so we’ll see how it holds up over time. A friend recommended this brand based on an older model she has that’s no longer available.I bought the stainless steel version. It’s a I expected – just the lid is stainless, the rest is plastic, but again that’s how it appears online so no surprises. I still wanted the stainless top since that’s the part my cats will lick so it might effect flavor.First impressions:1. This is literally quieter than my refrigerator, and I only filled it about half full. I had a ceramic fountain years ago and never liked how loud it was. This one is quieter by far. (In my video you can compare in the last part with the background noise of my dishwasher and dryer running).2. I LOVE the fact that there’s an OPTION to TURN THE LIGHT OFF! I know lots of other people seem to like the blue light, but I prefer to not have excess light (pollution) in my home and I’m so happy the designers made this optional rather than compulsory, as is the case these days with so many electronic devices.3. The instructions have just the right amount of detail. And they’re funny! The pump is a little character that tells you how to clean them. So creative and useful! Because it’s amusing it’s more inviting to read – and proper pump maintenance is vital to keeping the fountain in proper working order – so well done in making this part inviting.4. I took the time to properly wash all the parts of the fountain and give the charcoal filter a good rinse like the instructions say to do to help get rid of excess charcoal dust and also help eliminate anything that might not smell/ taste good to the kitties. Both of mine were drinking from the fountain within five minutes of putting it out. They both like to lick water droplets out of the sink and tub so I know they prefer fresh water to bowls. So I just did my job of cleaning anything from the brand new fountain that might smell or taste unfamiliar and they both embraced it.Happy household so far!;

Good overall, but the motor will die often
I mean, don’t buy the bulk pack of replacement filters. The motor doesn’t last that long, and it’s cheaper to buy a new fountain than to replace the motor. Since the six-month mark, the motor just stops working every two weeks until it has a deep clean. Little over a year later, the motor won’t turn on even after cleaning.The fountain is cleanable but not quite as easy as the claim—so many corners that are difficult to get to. The light is nice, though, in case you usually walk around at night with the lights off.

Works amazingly. Please read if you’ve had issues with the noise for a troubleshooting suggestion.
So, this was my first time purchasing a pet fountain. I have 2 cats and a 6 month old puppy, so I’m trying to make my life as easy as possible with their feeding and water routine. This was easy to out together. The instructions were simple. Even if you do make a mistake, nothing that can’t be redone or fixed.I did read that people were having issues with the sound of trickling after a bit. I also had that same issue. I went through and cleaned the entire thing. Every single part, plate, etc. I even changed out the filter even though it was new. It was still trickling. It was driving me CRAZY. What I forgot was inside the bowl, on the bottom of the suction box, there’s a black mesh filter in there that controls the water going out of the fountain. I pulled that out and it was EXTREMELY dirty. Once I cleaned it with dawn dish soap and hot water, it worked like a charm.About 2 weeks later, it happened again. I checked the black mesh filter again and it was dirty!! Rinsed and washed again and it was all back to normal.So, if you hear the trickle, loud humming, etc. Check to make sure you have enough water in there. The closer it gets to empty the louder the hum gets (although still not overly loud). If you hear the trickle, open the water box, take out the white suctioned box and pull out the black mesh and clean. It’ll all be betterI’ve had this product since 3 months and no issues besides what I mentioned.

Looks good. Works great. Cat loves it. Quiet. Simple to use and maintain. Highly recommend. Took cat a minute to warm up to it but is now drinking more water than ever.
