High quality, large treat sticks. May not be for small birds
This Treat Stick package included 3 large sticks. The core is plastic to hang it to the cage. The grains in the stick are all-natural and do not smell like anything. I hung that on my budgie, for a week he did not even go near the stick but then he started to bite it. It seems a bit hard to chew for small birds and may not be suitable for small birds like budgies.Overall it is for African gray or large cockatail.

That my parakeets would be able to enjoy and eat it.
The treat stick is very hard. My parakeets could not get any pieces off. I even tried hammering it to break some it up. Didn’t work. Threw it away.

very hard
rhese treats are very compact and difficult for parakeets to break off pieces

For The Birds
I am always looking for something new for the wild birds in my area. This looked like a winner…and it is!The Crows love these treats, and the cardinals and wrens hit it as well…not to mention the squirrels. The first stick I just tapped a nail in a post and hung it. The crows played with it for a bit until one crow decided it was worth taking. In just a few seconds it had dislodged the stick and flew off with it.Some birds will like it, some won’t…pretty much like all bird food. What i like is that they have to ‘work’ it a bit, so it doesn’t just disappear in the blink of the eye.Nice treats! Recommended.

Not for my bird…
This treat has been hanging in my cockatiels cage for over a week now and it looks barely touched. I don’t know if its because stuff is difficult to get off or because the smell and taste don’t appeal to her? The size of the treat stick is rather large. (See photos) Also, the stick doesn’t look like the picture in the listing, the colors are all different and it looks chunkier than the pictures. I guess I didn’t realize how large the pieces would be. Maybe a larger bird would like it? anyway, I will probably leave it there a while longer just to see if she is picking things off or not, but it is definitely a slow process.

Bird snack
My birds didn’t really like these, they are cute and seem to be good quality tho. Plenty of seeds and good size.
