Works to remove hardened tartar buildup!
Awesome toothpaste! I like the consistency of the paste, smells good, and my dog is happy with the taste. Iâve been brushing with this toothpaste regularly over the last couple weeks and I successfully removed a large chunk of hardened tartar that has been coated on one of his large premolars for a long time. Other brands didnât break it off like this toothpaste did, I couldnât believe it. My Vet and I have discussed scheduling a professional dental cleaning, but my dog is senior and has cardiac disease, so the risk of anesthesia is high. I have been trying to keep his teeth as clean as possible at home. I am so happy with this toothpaste, and Iâm optimistic that I could remove built-up plaque and tartar, keep his breath fresh, and eliminate the need to put him under general anesthesia for teeth cleaning. Great product
My little guy loves the taste of this tooth paste which makes cleaning his teeth a treat instead of a chore. I use a ribbed cotton finger cover and rub it over his teeth & let him have a little dab to lick off when Iâm done. His teeth are clean & his breath is fresh! At his recent check-up the vet was impressed with his âgleamingâ teeth!

Great toothpaste, but no tamper proof seal.
This toothpaste works well and my Shih Tzu puppy loves it. My only concern is thereâs no tamper proof seal. Unfortunately, I had to return the first tube I purchased because it appeared someone used it since there was some toothpaste on the opening and in the cap. The second tube was fine. However, there should be a tamper proof seal and/or the box should be sealed. Thatâs why I gave it four stars.

Smells great, dog loves the taste
Been using this for months now. Great value. I got the vanilla mint flavor and it smells so much better than the chicken flavors I used in the past. I was worried my dog wouldnât like the flavor but she loves this one just as much as the other. Definitely freshened my dogs breath and my vet is happy with her oral health.

Milo & Rocky fully endorse this toothpaste! They love having their teeth brushed with this paste. I ordered the mint flavor by mistake, but they seem to like it almost as much as the chicken flavor. Does make their teeth nice and shinning. If you have a bad tarter problem, I recommend getting their teeth professional cleaned, and use this as way to maintain good oral health.

Results in just 4 days, tartar is coming off!
Just 4 days of brushing with Virbac CET Enzymatic Toothpaste & the buildup (tartar) is crumbling off my dog’s teeth! My dog is 8 years old, we’ve never manually brushed until now. He has tartar build up mostly on his K9’s & two front teeth. Using a tool I attempted to remove tartar BEFORE ever using this toothpaste. It wouldn’t budge. No I didn’t hurt my dog. A week later I purchased this toothpaste. Day 2 of brushing, some tartar crumbled right off, in the midst of brushing. Day 4 more started coming off; the gum line of his K9’s is now Tartar FREE. I’d definitely say it’s working! I’ve noticed less stinky breath as well. I purchased the poultry flavor & he loves is. Seeing as it’s only been 4 days, I’m confident a full month will show tremendous results. I started brushing for 30 seconds on day #1, by day #4 were at 60 seconds. I have a fear triggered aggressive dog, so this experience was definitely made easier by this toothpaste…it works & he thinks it tastes good. Photo shows chips of tartar that flaked off today while brushing. I can’t photograph his mouth as I need another set of hands to do so; I’ll try to update photos as we progress with brushing.

Less than 1 month of use: already a huge difference!
This stuff WORKS! Our labradoodle was having quite the tartar buildup and smelly breath. We started using this product nightly on a wet toothbrush (consistency is key!!) on Jan 10, 25. The progression of before and after in the photos 10 days of product use, and then again Feb. 5,25 less than a month of using the product- her smile and oral health is transformational! Product is easy to use, my dog doesnât mind the taste and anything she did swallow was gentle on her sensitive stomach. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to better the oral health of their dog! For this price point, donât be fooled- it really works!

I cannot believe how well this toothpaste works on my dog! His teeth have improved so much over the past two weeks of daily brushing, they are already getting proper white again!. He doesnât mind the taste and itâs a good texture/thickness so it will go along way and make sure all the teeth have product and are cleaned. I will definitely be purchasing again the quality is just too good, my pooch finally has nicer smelling breath again!
