My new favorite rasp brand!
I’ve been using diamond brand rasps for a couple decades. I decided to try this new brand because of the great reviews. And I can say that it is my new favorite rasp! It not only removes enough material with each stroke to be productive, but it felt smooth as butter and the “bite” doesn’t snag, it glides smoothly across. Both sides of the rasp are sharp and do the job well. I’m glad I tried this one! Highly recommended.

EASILY 5 StarsThe teeth all go one direction on one side. Much easier to use when you change directions, you know what it is going to do.Italian craftsmanship. Not chinessium steel!When you open it up just know it’s quality.

All 5 broke. Cheap steel that shears with minimal force-didnât even touch one hoof
First rasp I use out of the package breaks in half immediately. must be made of cheap steel, because I do not have that happen with any other brand other than the ones that made ultra cheapie. Super dissatisfied and unhappy with the quality of the product. Update: all five broke before they were used on more than 5 horses; usually just by dropping

I bought this as a gift for my farrier and it seems like a nice rasp, but the packaging that it arrived in was not good. Despite it saying new, it was a bit dirty and crumpled, as if it had been left out in the rain
