I was genuinely very impressed by this product. It has everything a human first aid kit would have and then some. Great value for the price. Itâs small and compact, but it first A LOT in it. I like the orange color because it makes it easy to spot in case of an emergency. Very easy to open and close and use- would recommend.

Good base kit
I bought this to take traveling internationally with my dog. Iâve never had to use it thankfully. BUT these are the things I like about this set. Everything folds out so you can see through the clear pouches for locating exactly what youâre looking for. I like that it came with tourniquets because nothing is scarier than not being able to stop bleeding. The thermometer is a huge plus because that is something You will need every time your dog gets sick. If you call the vet they will ask you if your dog has a fever. I like the emergency blanket because shock is a big problem if you were out on a trail and he gets hurt. I wish it came with pain reliever and peroxide to induce vomiting (for ingested poison) I added wound closure strips to my kit and blood stopping powder. Blood stoping powder is important because if you cut a toenail to close or your dog cuts himself itâs good to have that on hand. Both of these items fit nicely in the kit. The kit itâs self is durable and high-quality. It covers a variety of problems that could occur with your dog anything from trauma to sickness. I could f fit these inside the kit, but I also have probiotics (for upset stomach or stress) and electrolyte powder for dehydration. Dehydration happens quickly on a trail or if your dog picks up a virus. I recommend this kit as base! But with anything else think through what youâre doing with your dog and what things might be missing.

Missing Items
PLEASE CHECK BEFORE AN EMERGENCY! The case is nice and it is a convenient kit to keep in your car, but unfortunately when it finally came time to use the kit I realized it is missing a sizable amount of stuff that should be in here based on the graphic of what the kit includes. I wasnât happy to find this out during a medical emergency, but in retrospect I of course should have confirmed all the products were there to start (and my return window has since closed). It was very full and I just assumed it had everything. My kit is missing the following: 1 Styptic Pencil (04), 2 Pet Eye Wash (06), Self Adhesive Vet Tape (12), Emergency Slip Lead (13), 6x Povidone-Iodine Prep Pad (14), ALL Gauze Pads (16, 17, 18, 22), Mini Flashlight (23), Antibiotic Ointment (24), 20x Pet Cotton Swabs (26), and the Emergency Muzzle (30). The rest of the items were included (I even got two rolls of non-woven tape and two pairs of gloves) but they did not necessarily match the image in terms of packaging so you may have to read what each individual wipe/packet is. My scissors, for example, are straight and small (not with the bend on the blade like the one in the product photo). Naturally, during the medical event I needed antibiotic ointment, gauze, and wide self adhesive medical tapeânone of which were in my kit and all of which were advertised as included. I did get the narrow version of the self adhesive tape (11) in my kit. Ultimately though it ended up having way more missing stuff than I would ever be okay with and therefore was a really poor value for the cost seeing as I need to supplement nearly half of the products. For what itâs worth, my kit did include a medium collar (wonât fit my dog but A for effort) and some strip bandaids like the kind a human would use even though it didnât claim to include those items. Iâm really disappointed that I trusted this to actually meet my dogâs needs in a medical event, and I would caution you to either build a kit yourself or triple check you actually receive what you pay for when it comes to this product.Edited to add that the company was very kind and has since offered me a refund! For anyone else wondering why they may not have every item, they said they have updated the kit to include more products after my purchase date (but itâs still a similar price as when I bought it so a better value now, yay!) although I suspect gauze should have been in there either way and that was the kicker of what I needed at the time. I very much appreciate them making it right and wouldnât hesitate to purchase another product!

Great for home, office, and in the car
Every pet owner, or pet advocate should have one of these in the car at all times. It’s helped with humans and pets, just after a few months.The amount of gauze is quite small, so be prepared to supplement it as needed.They are not lying when they suggest that offices and commercial spaces that welcome pets should have al least one of these and it should be a designated person’s duty to keep it stocked (order replacement supplies).Side note: some supplies can be added to human kits and these pet kits. Cheaper that way!But, overall, after getting my kit, reviewing the supplies and getting familiar with things, this is a GREAT starter kit, and it includes literature to help give you reminders for this n that, it’s helpful.When you get it, open, count, and familiarize yourself with what’s in there, and put a reminder in your calendar, to review/tally the contents and literature, as it really is helpful.
