Hermit crab lamp
I use this for my hermit crabs at night. Heats up the terrarium without over heating. Iâve been using it for 2 months now and love it.

I had no idea you could use these with a regular lamp and get heat coming out, but it works! I know nothing about electrical or technological stuff, so my amazement is probably ridiculous to others, but I was excited. The hermit crabs got interested when I turned it on and are more active than before. They love the lamp along with an ocean salt solution that they soak in sometimes.

Puts off a lot of heat but wish they had longer life
I don’t know what makes these bulbs any better than 100 W bulb. They do seem to have a relatively short life. They only last a few months so we tend to have a few in stock. They do work to help keep our hermit crab cage warm.
