Baby Food
It’s all I use for my Cichlid fry. It doesn’t take but a couple minutes to crush flakes small enough to feed my fry. They love it and they are healthy as can be. ð

Our blood parrots have trouble eating pellet foods so we tried these flakes. The ingredients are goof and our fish love them. Also, does not cloud water or dirty the tank

No big flakes at all
Iâve got African Mbuna and they are currently juveniles. They were basically fry when I purchased them. Bought these flakes as a fry/juvenile food until they are big enough to handle pellets, and the lower amount of protein is good to prevent Malawi bloat. Quite disappointed in the quality of flakes. They are basically pulverized and are tiny crumbs. I prefer big flakes that I can then crumble myself to feed to my fish. That being said almost all my Mbuna readily accept them and whatever portions Iâm putting in are being eaten. Just a word of advice to newbies, flake food is fine as a supplement and especially good for juveniles and small fish, but as fish grow they def need the nutritional value that is supplied from pellets. As my Mbuna grow Iâll still use this as a supplement a couple times a week but I feed my fish almost exclusively NLS. In my opinion that is the premium food on the market.
