Great little camera.
Connected this right up to smart life with no issues. The picture is decent for the camera and works well with the app panning up/down and left/right. Comes with plate to mount it. Overall very pleased with this introduction to my smart life setup. Price was very good.

Great quality camera
I’ve owned other indoor cameras and this one is very nice. It’s compact, very sensitive, and the pictures/video is awesome. If you have the Smartlife app the camera will almost connect automatically. I highly recommend.

many false motion detects and crashes after a few days
I purchased two of these at the same time, and they both have these symptoms. I use these as indoor cameras, and both give many false motion detects. Turning on the human body motion filter helps, but even it is not perfect.Also, when left alone for several days with the alarm detection enabled while using simple motion detection, the camera eventually goes offline after 3-4 days. Signal strength was good before the crash, and the camera recovers after unplugging supply and plugging it back in. So it does not appear to be related to my network. I’ve repeated this problem several times, both cameras, different locations. I have the latest firmware installed, etc.If you don’t expect reasonably high reliability then these may be OK for you (watching children come in from school, etc.), but if you want them to work for days/weeks with notifications enabled then you probably want to look elsewhere.

The price is right!
Very responsive and clear picture from this camera. The audio is nice and the 2-way audio system is cool too. It was a little bit of a hassle to setup but once you get into the app more it becomes easier to navigate. There are 2 gripes that I have though. The first is that when in “night-vision” mode, the camera has an indicator on it showing when it (the night-vision) is active. I don’t want any indicator at all that the camera is active. To some it may be seen as a deterrent, but for me it is a target. The other issue is that it is only for Android/Apple devices. I would love to be able to directly access the camera via my Windows laptop or computer natively without having to find some kind of workaround. Other than those 2 issues, I find that the price is perfect for a standalone security camera. $20 would get you a decent 1080p webcam in most cases. This gives you the 2K quality with control, but exclusive connectivity through their company. So it’s a trade-off on connectivity for quality.

Did not want multiple vendors/apps so this is my 3rd different set of security cam which I wanted to consolidate to Tuya/smart life. Works like a charm

Not worth it
It only works with 2.4ghz Wi-Fi so unless you are either have that speed Wi-Fi or are tech savvy itâs a worthless camera. Definitely returning it!

Getting it connected with APP and CELLPHONE is impossible!And when you CANT … an OBNOXIOUS VOICE WILL NAG YOU UNTILL YOU DO!

Easy to install and it works but I returned it just because I have a pet feeder with a camera. So I no longer need this camera but its definitely good for the price.
