Issue Resolved 9-12-24
I purchased this on July 18, 2024 and today Sept. 8th it is dead. The other day my SD card stopped working. I replaced it with another and worked ok until today when it completely died. Of course it is out of its 30 day return with Amazon so I will wait and see if the seller makes good on a replacement. I will update this review as needed.Update: 9-12-24 – Seller has issued a full refund so I am very satisfied with the resolution. I would not hesitate to try this product again.

Good camera that could of been great
Despite the claims that it is 2k (2304×1296) it is really only a 1080p camera with some type of upscaling. If you look far enough down the listing, you will see the “compared to similar” and it states the real Video Capture Resolution is 1080p. Not the worst thing in the world as it is an indoor comera no trying to see a super long distance. The reason I am giving it 3 is due to the misleading product description, and seller answers. I asked the seller in the “question” section of true video resolution and was told 2k. I even went to the manufacture’s website, and it also listed 2k/1296 when it is not. Also asked seller if fully ONVIF with Profile S and Profile T. I was told yes it was. This would allow for alerts to be sent to an NVR for storage of only “Person shape” detected saving a lot of drive space. I found out it supports only the bare minimum. It does ONVIF setup for RTSP streaming video and nothing else. That is not fully supporting ONVIF. I am not sure if the answer I got back for ONVIF was trying to be misleading, or the did not understand ONVIF. Regardless, I would have hoped they would have verified their answer and not just wing it. I am going to keep the camera regardless of these misleading/Spec errors as I still is a good camera. The video is good for the resolution, and the Ai person shape detection is fast. It can also do Human Framing that shows up on the live view in the app, and on DVR viewing/recording. It also makes the Human detection better with less false alarms when using the framing. And the best is the zoom with the second lens. It does digital zooming mixed with optical zoom of the second lens. The only downside is it is only digital zooming showing inside the app and not recording to SD card or DVR. The optical zoom of the second lens does record to SD card and DVR though. Other dual lens cameras do it better, but they cost 4+ times as much. I would of gave it a higher rating, but I am a little jaded from the incorrect information being provided. Even so I ended up keeping the camera. If you are not expecting to use ONVIF and DVR beyond simple video streaming, and some pan/title functions then this maybe the camera for you. Creepy camera
Will randomly flash white light despite emails to company and turning all other features off. Annoying advertisement that pops up every time I open app
