It wasn’t hard to get my cockatiels to eat this food. This is not the only kind of pellet food I give them. I also give them the Kaytee pellets for the sake of variety and in case one is nutritionally better than the other. The Kaytee pellets smell nicer and are colourful. My birds go through phases where they like one brand more than the other but in general they like this one more. It smells interesting – not bad at all. To me it smells like kiddies toothpaste, but I’ve seen others describe it differently. What I like about this product compared to Kaytee is that it doesn’t stain their droppings and it ends up being less messy – the others end up all over the place. My vacuum cleaner ends up full of Kaytee pellets

Great Food for Sun Conure
The person that I bought my Sun Conure swears by this food, and I see why now very little waste the bird loves it. I do also feed a fresh bird salad (mixed greens, peppers, carrots, peas corn, rice and such) but this is very balanced food.

A couple years ago, my parrotlet was having a lot of digestive issues and I had to take him to his vet more often than I would have liked. I had him on a seed and pellet diet during that time, along with fresh fruits and veggies. Nothing out of the ordinary. But he kept getting sick. I talked with my vet about it, and decided it was best to give him just mushy pellets for a while to let my parrotlet have something easier to digest. I was disappointed to see that most pellets I found in pet stores had tons of added food coloring, which was making my parrotlet regurgitate more than normal and turn his poops weird colors. So I went on a search for something without tons of added colors and unnatural ingredients and I found this Hari Tropican Lifetime formula. My parrotlet loved it! So I kept him on this pellet diet for a couple months, and I have been giving it to him ever since with no digestive issues or sickness since. I give him a mix of the Hari Tropican Formula along with Harrisonâs High Potency fine bird food, and my parrotlet has been in great health with no abnormal trips to the vet. I will update if there are any changes, but I donât see that coming anytime soon. Iâm about to buy the third bag of this for my birds! Both my parrotlets love it.

Not sure any translation nor reading comprehension; received pellets that smelled like old daiquiris. No drama, just fully disappointed. Label online said: Sunflower seeds & peanut. That is what I ordered. Rec’d fruity & in another language (the language is FINE, the FOOD is my priority). Have never been irritated nor annoyed enough to put a bad review out. This one I’m doing. My bird doesn’t do fruity. That’s why I basically investigate every new food. This online choice was bad in our home. Dang, I have a boughie bird & I’m mad for her. Peace.

I bought this at my vets office and my green cheek conures loved it. Since then this is their main diet and they are thriving and doing very well. The price is right and this big bag can last a long time. These smaller pellets are the perfect mouthful for them so there’s very little mess or wastage.Edit: Years later and they are still loving this food and doing great.

I have 14 birds, from budgies to african greys and they all eat this. Transition was really easy too, just chopped it in to morning veg then gradually mixed it in whole. Now they will eat it on its own
