Good value for the money- was explained in product description well.
Cuttlefish is cuttlefish! That being said, the only thing I would suggest to the sellers is that it arrive with a dietary analysis attached. I use it for my eastern box turtle, others may have other kinds or species of pets they may want to use it for. New pet owners may need an online tutorial on how, and how much to give their particular pet. One can by accident, allow their pet to ingest too much calcium, for example, if that pet tends to eat past the point of need.All in all, it arrived intact although it is fragile and can break in transport, as we were warned in the product description. Still perfectly good if it had. It was also shipped quickly and got here early: and I was in speedy need of more palatable calcium for my picky 18 year old turtle.

Great For A Pet Land Snail
I rescued a land snail from a parking lot a few months ago and caved to my 7 year old’s instance that we keep it as a pet. (The things I do for love of this child! ð) After doing a lot of research on calcium sources (calcium is a vital nutrient for snails to keep their shells strong and help repair them if they get damaged) we decided to go with cuttlebones.These were clean, thick enough to not break easily (sharp edges could be deadly for a snail), and a decent size. Our new pet took to her new cuttlebone right away and it has continued to be one of her favorite places to hang out.These cuttlefish bones have lasted for nearly 5 months (together, not apiece) and I’m only now having to order some more. Unfortunately, I decided to go with a cheaper brand (Bird’s Love) this time around and am now regretting it. Even though the Emours cuttlefish bones are a little more expensive, they are worth the additional cost and I will be returning to them when the cheaper brand runs out.

Perfect for our snails
We have two different types of snails, a large garden snail and a tank full of aquatic snails. Both of them love this cuttlefish. You can see their little teeth marks as they nibble on it. I was glad to find these, they love them and it provides the calcium they need for their shells.

I bought these for my 3 year old tortoise because he has an underbite. He ate the whole piece in one day, his jaw already looks better!! Saving the second one for another day. Look exactly like the picture too

I was a little disappointed . One of my budgies loves these cuttle bones when they go into the cage, but i find these are very thin and did not seem to have to receive much effort to break in fact they broke very easily. So not much effort on the beak.
