I kinda of giggled just a bit when Amazon’s rating program asked me to rate their flavor. Dude, it’s fish food…I’m not eating it. Regardless, I ordered this specifically for a tank of quite particular German Rams. They seem to love it so, win. The pellet size seems adequate for their tiny yet opinionated mouths. The nutritional info on the bag indicates it’s some pretty good stuff…for what that’s worth. My lone small complaint would be…these are awfully fast sinkers. I’d love to find that pellet that will hang in the mid-range for a minute or so. I know Rams will pick from the substrate but they much prefer to grab it on the go.

I am not impressed with this product. They sink to the bottom and do not float at all. I have notified the company before regarding this issue before. We are going to take these off auto order because of that situation

This is perfect for my African cichlids and boy does it last a long time! They love it and they are healthy as can be! This is my second time purchasing Aqueon cichlid pellets but the first for the claim that it promotes color enhancement. I personally don’t see a difference in my peacock cichlids but then again they are juveniles so I didn’t purchase expecting that to work. At the time of purchase this was cheaper than the regular mini’s but I will stick with this product anyhow because I like that there are different pellet sizes for this brand available, and if I notice the color difference I’ll update here.

Great food for African cichlids. I started to give these to my 2” peacock cichlids and they really like it. I am starting to see color popping really nice on some only after 2 weeks of use. Recommended, but wish they come in bigger bags.
