Well priced reptile reflector dome
Purchased for my red-eared sliders tanning needs. I’ve had experience with all brands and sizes over the last 15 years.Pros: Nice LARGE dome, sturdy construction. Fits standard American E26 bulb socket.Clamp has full range of motion.Priced around half that or you neighborhood chain pet store.(I sometimes use fluorescent bulbs so Turtles enjoy a light tan without increasing metabolic needs too much. Works well!)Cons: Really none.Word of caution: Clamp is sturdy but will move, and needs to be checked on as it may fall if clamped in upright vertical position. This is not specific to any single clamp but worth mentioning.Overall: Large domed sturdy clamp light with standard bulb socket. Very reasonably priced.

Stay away
Piece of garbage, did not work right out of the box. It uses cheap push in clips to hold wires in. One of mine was broke.

Arrived damaged, not worth the money
My lamp arrived really bent on one side. It works fine, but thereâs no way it bent during shipping (the packaging inside was intact, as was the box) so it had to have gone in the box damaged. I need it really badly for some unhealthy plants, but I would recommend to buy a different product & I will not repurchase

Pretty awesome!
I use this with the Zoo Med Nocturnal Infrared Incandescent Heat Lamp (50watts), and it works wonderfully! The only thing I wish they could adjust is the length of the power cord. 6ft is definitely not as long as I remember it being! But other than that, it’s awesome! 🙂

BEST. BARGAIN. LAMP. EVER.
I have purchased numerous dome lamps over the past few years for my hermit crab tank. They had inline switches and the light socket came loose after a few months. Sometimes I would find the light out not knowing if the bulb had expired, or if there was faulty wiring/socket work at play. That is not the case with this lamp. The switch is attached to the dome fixture, and the socket is in the same housing as this switch. There is a separate metal “dome,” but it seems very secure (my previous lamps had a ceramic socket that was anchored with a few C rings to the dome, the socket would get loose making it impossible to tighter a bulb in place.)The dome is wide enough and deep enough that I can have the lamp clamped to the stand below my hermit crab cage but still have most of the light/heat exposure directed towards the tank. There is very little bleeding of light even though it is such a wide lamp. The quality of this lamp will surely exceed most needs.

Works good but came with wrong parts
This is a good lamp, but unfortunately ours showed up with wrong size dome that didn’t fit the actual lamp piece. The hole in silver dome was too big and wouldn’t screw onto the bulb holding part. We happened to have this same model that had broken, so we were able to take dome from that which worked fine. Other than receiving wrong parts with order, it works great.

Great Lamp!
I’m not sure what the other consumers are doing to their lamps to be making them fall apart so easily; but I haven’t had any problems with mine and love it. It’s a very simple generic lamp but it provides a lot of light and doesn’t get too hot. I know it’s meant to be used for lizards but we actually use it for a spot light and love it.

Poorly made
Poorly made and expensive. Just buy one at Home Depot for 8-10 bucks. Mine fell apart less than a month after I got it.

Basic, cheap, and does its job.

Wrong colour. The lamp was supposed to be of a glazed black. Instead itâs an unpolished aluminum gray.Mauvaise couleur. La lampe est affichée comme étant noire émail. Mais en réalité, elle nâest quâen aluminum non polie.Dommage.
