Fun for our hamster.
I have a medium sized hamster and this sport running ball is just the right size. It allows for my hamster to easily turn around and go exploring without running away. She seems to really enjoy going all over the place, and our cats were pretty entertained as well. It works well on floors and rungs. It was worried about small floor level changes in our house, but the ball can navigate them pretty easily. I would definitely keep away from stairs. The plastic is very light weight, so probably easy to crack. So far it works great. I have no idea about keeping it clean because I would not leave my hamster in it that long.

Hamster ball for them all
This ball is very large and perfect for my hamster. I use it for when I am cleaning out her cage and she really loves running around exploring. My dogs dont know what to do with her running around them. I’m happy with how sturdy the design is and how easy it was to put together. I love the colored “doors”.

It required assembly which was fine, it was easy to do and came with everything needed. The size is good for an adult Teddybear hamster. Itâs a clear ball with a door at each end. It gets regular use and is holding up well. At first, my daughter and I had a really hard time getting the doors to secure properly. Itâs like they didnât want to slide into the locked position. Once the door even opened while my hamster was rolling around. We found that after a few uses, the doors did get easier to use. Iâm not sure why they got easier with use, but we found we have to listen for a certain clicking sound. When we hear it, we know itâs secure. We havenât had any issues since. Iâm rating it a 4 instead of an 5 because it took several uses to get past the initial issue I had with the doors. Overall, I like it. Itâs a nice hamster ball. If I have to purchase another, I would go with this brand again.

Good exercise ball
I have purchased a couple different exercise balls for hamsters/gerbils. The grandkids love pocket pets. This one screws together, and includes a really nice screwdriver. The other pieces snap together well. The kids have younger pets so this is a little tough for them to move yet. Great that they can grow into it and this will last a while. Easy for the kids to access pets inside. Keeps them safe while exercising. Good price. Would recommend.

It’s a nice hamster ball. It just didn’t work out for us.
It’s probably my fault for thinking so, but I pictured this ball as being a little bigger than it actually is. I ordered it for my daughter’s pet rats, but they had absolutely no interest in going inside it lol. It turns out that pet rats aren’t supposed to use such things anyway (their spines aren’t meant to flex that way I guess?), even if they are still small enough in size for it, so I suppose it’s a good thing they weren’t interested. It’s otherwise a good product and although there was some assembly (you have to screw the two halves of the sphere together) it was super easy and quick to do, and they even provide the screwdriver.
