Good for small dogs on big bikes
Product notes: I found this item was a bit too large for my wife’s bike, as her front wheel would rub the bottom of the basket. But on my larger bike, it worked great. (She is about 5’3″ and I am 6’1″.) The product is very sturdy and the side pockets are useful. The comfort is good, with padding and vents for air (if the dog chooses to sit or lay.). The product is attractive.Our usage notes: Our dog feels just a bit large for this basket. He is a 1 year old Yorkie/Poodle/Bichon mix at about 16 pounds. He enjoys the ride, but insists on shifting around in the basket, often standing on his hind legs. On a straight path, this is not an issue, but on curves or turns his movements make the bike ride a bit squirrelly. Ever had someone ride on your bike with you who did not lean into turns with you, etc.? It’s a bit like that but on a smaller scale. Novice bike riders might struggle, especially if on gravel or sand where it is easier to lose control. Anyone who is a strong rider with a large bike and a small dog can purchase with confidence.

Very versatile and well made with many helpful features
I have used this as a shoulder bag for my dog, then an airplane dog carrier where I unzipped the mesh extension on the side for extra room during the 6.5 hr flight so my 9.5 lb Yorkie/Shi Zthu could stretch out and as pictured, as a bike carrier bag for my dog. I also pack groceries from the store a few times a week in it. It holds a lot with all the space and the side pockets are great for dog treats, face masks, hand sanitizer wipes, do do bags, money, etc. There is a 6â leash with a clip attached inside the bag to secure your dog while on a bike.The cons: It didnât have a good amount of straps to hold it up on the handle bars. It came with shoulder straps and back pack straps that I used to monkey rig it around things but it didnât help keep the weight of a dog or groceries up off the fender even if it met the requirements for the amount of clearance between handle bars and tire. It still droops with weight. Itâs meant to hold up to a 15 lb dog but my 9.5 lb had it sagging on the tire via the fender. If it had any framing or additional straps at the top it could be held upbetter. We are making it work. Itâs still a great bag and very doable depending on your bicycle situation.The versatility canât be beat! We traveled out of the country so needed both an airline carrier and a bike basket for a dog so this was perfect!

My Pup and I Love this Basket!
This dog bike carrier is perfect for my dog who is about 18 pounds. The carrier is roomy and has additional pockets on the outside for things you may need to bring on your ride. It is sturdy enough that my pup does feels secure and there is room to put a few small things in the carrier along side my pup.

Okay so let me first start off by saying that this, by far, met my expectations and so much more. I was expecting just an ordinary zip up bike attachment that attaches at the handlebars for my small dog as i want to take him out on adventures with me, bike riding being one, however i did not think that this had back pack straps to carry on back or even the longer strap to carry at my side. I based my purchase on the photos and some reviews instead of reading info about product. So imagine my suprise when i see all the extra parts. I instantly brought him out for a test run and he loved it! So definatly worth the purchase for me. Its very sturdy so he felt safe enough to stay inside while top was open, super easy to install, and stability is great. It does however make the front end of the bike a little heavy but is expected.

I love this carrier. It’s perfect for our chihuahuas. Only 1 dog ride. She’s blind & deaf but still likes to go out & smellthe fresh air & then one walks until he gets tired. I had to be creative cuz I put it on front of my motorized old lady scooter. But it’s so perfect & the dogs & I both love it. â¤ï¸. Also if we run into big dogs I can zip them up for safety. It at least gives us a chance to get to safety.

Originally was looking for a bike basket for my 15lb dog. After many searches I settled for this one. At first we thought it was too big for the bike, but turned out to be okay. I love that this is a carrier in so many ways! I use this more going out with her. I’ll always bring it in the store and it’ll fit in the shopping cart so she can sit inside. If she gets antsy she’ll go in the bag pack. Inside a store she gets very yappy (just happy to be out) so I generally have to carry her, she also like to be eye level with everyone. I’ve even carried her in the front. It’s a bit bulky I wish it was smaller but hey she’s happy, I’m happy.
