Customers say
Customers find these fly boots effective at keeping insects away and appreciate their functionality. The durability receives mixed feedback – while some find them heavy-duty, others report they fall apart after less than a week. The fit and Velcro quality are also mixed, with some finding them comfortable while others say they run large, and while the Velcro is strong, some report it coming off after one use. The boots stay up well initially but tend to slide down after a few days. Value for money opinions are divided, with some saying they’re great for the price while others find them not worth the cost.

Nice Boots
These boots have held up better than I expected. They have been on my horse for about two months. They are starting to show signs of wear, but considering they stay on 24/7, I think they are doing well. They are staying on and remaining upright. I have not seen any rubbing or chafing due to poor fit. The boots do keep the flies off my horseâs lower legs. I have been pleasantly surprised with these boots.

Just buy them!
We had another brand and 2 of 3 horses kept losing them in pasture after not even a year old. Took a chance on these and so far zero issues. The velcro is strong and so far the binding is holding them up strong. Will update again after another month of wear and see how they are holding up.They do run large..our 14hh QH, we got her a yearling size and they fit perfect. Our 14.1 and 15h QH are both in smalls.

Held up for 2 months then some rips
Edit- shortly after 1st review, one of the supports poked out and ripped. Out of the 8 boots I bought 3 are ripped within 3 months. If you buy, I suggest you buy 2 pairs for replacements. These have nice supports, flexible but stay up. The Velcro is holding up well. The clean up easily with a soft scrub brush. Have been on 24/7 for 2 months. Will definitely buy another pair. The buckskin is 15.2 hands, 1200 pounds and thicker bone. He has the large. The black horse is 15 hands, 1000 pounds and finer bone and has mediums.

Most underrated fly boots ever
I’m scared to even write this review because I don’t want to share my secret!! These fly boots are AMAZING and just as effective as boots twice as expensive. The Velcro is super high quality even when my mare gets the zoomies in her pasture. The colors are great and they do a great job of keeping the bugs away. BUY THESE BOOTS!

cheap
They last about a few weeks, nothing special, not a great fit, flies still a nuisance.

Not Great!
These didn’t last long at all. The wires that hold them up came out quickly, so they are sort of useless for the horse. If that part was reinforced somehow so the wires didn’t pop out they could be great. Velcro worked well.

Long Lasting, Beautiful Color, Non-Penetrating
I absolutely love these fly boots! They are worth the money. They fit perfectly on my 16hh Quarter Horse. I am able to ride and perform in them. So far, he is very comfortable in them and able to wear them 24/7. They hold up nicely and do not tear or scrunch up, very stable material. The color is catching and beautiful, nice airflow, and helps with the flies SO much.

these boots seemed great in the beginning but wore ver quickly. The bars bent early on and they ripped along where the bars are.
