Durable and Stay On!
This is the third pair of these hock protectors that we have purchased in the last 10 years. They last a long time, and come out great from the washer after being laundered. Just be sure to close them as they would be on the horse so there are no loose velcro ends to attract the faux sheepskin. We use a delicates bag to protect them in the washing machine. We dry them with a pet dryer sheet in the dryer on low and they come out like new, for a long time. Very durable and highly recommend them for horses that get sores on their hocks from lying down to sleep.

No more sore hocks!
My older mare was beginning to wear some pretty lg. hocks sores as sheâs obviously struggling a bit getting up. Her right hock especially big & sore. Well let me tell u folks.. theyâre a great product! Did the trick & sores r gone but I will continue to keep them on her during summer mos. Owners just b sure to remove & inspect yur horses skin underneath at least a couple times a wk. I did find a wear spot in the bend of her hock but I take the blame for Iâm sure improper placement or maybe too tight.
