Nice for a small space.
It is minimalistic in design. It was easy to assemble, the instructions were clear. It was packaged well; no broken glass.I like the simple design but if you want more than the mountain that comes with it, there is room to add a little bit more, like aquatic plants.This is good for a kids first aquarium, a desk, or a small apartment. Other than the water and a creature, it comes complete so it would be a nice gift.

This product is a 1.5 gallon rimless glass nano tank and comes with LED lights, filter, rock, and black sand. While I understand the small footprint (six inches length, width) for this tank is meant to have it on your work desk like an ornament, coming up with the right fish to put inside could be a challenge. Smaller fishes like tetras and guppies need bigger tanks. Some buyers might feel tempted to put a betta, but the small space means you can’t put decorations for your betta to rest or hide (as they like they do). So the tank would support smaller critters, like cherry shrimp or an African dwarf frog (with a lid on top to prevent the frog from jumping out).Although the manufacturer supplies a (sponge) filter and LED lights, you also need to place a water heater into the tiny tank. That’s why I wouldn’t use the rock that came with this package, because it’s too big. As for the black sand, I personally prefer gravel, which the shrimp and frog wouldn’t swallow.Interestingly, the LED light requires a USB-A connection. There are power adapters that provide it, but you might need to buy one to use the light. It’s quite nice, allowing the illumination to brighter or dimmer. There are three modes: bright white lights, color lights (blue, red, green) and a combo of the two. There’s no timer function, so you’ll need to press the power-off button (since your pet won’t require 24/7 lighting).This nano tank package provides a rimless glass tank with accessories. But whether it’s suitable for your intended pet is an open question.

Great Starter Aquarium
This is a great started aquarium, and perfect for use with a Beta. The filter is great for a smaller tank, which will maintain fish health and water quality. The crystals and black sand, combined with the LED light, give this aquarium a great look. It is very simple to use, and works great, I can easily recommend this for a bedroom or office desk.

This tank is so cute. I’m using it for a beginner shrimp tank. Its made really well and the silicone is strong. I love that it comes with everything I need. It comes with the sand, decorations, light, filter and rubber mat for it to sit on. All I need is a mini heater.
