Honestly just what we needed
*Used on 3 cats*Pounds: 7#/10#/20#*Temperaments: calm, normal, aggressively fiesty (claws and bites to which I have scars to prove)*Hair length: short, medium, longWe have had this product for awhile then lost it before being able to use it. Had to take 2 of the cats to the vet for yearly exams and they didn’t make it back clean (peed and pooped in the kennel) so we HAD to bath them. At this time this product was still lost and we had to bath them by hand. Both my husband and I ended up coming out of that bath with battle wounds (I almost had to go to the hospital with as bad as the cat got me with her teeth and claws). We subsequently found this bag about 2 hours after the horrible bath with the feline devil. Fast forward to 4 months later and we FINALLY decided to try this out que the bathing of our 3 cats. The one pictured above is the evil one which is why her head got covered. ALL the cats came out good! We had NO one harmed. No nail breakage, no water in their face, no bitting, no scratching. This was by far the EASIEST time we have EVER had bathing the cats. The cats also didn’t seemed traumatized like they have acted in the past. I would 100% recommend this item!Pro: easy to put on, used to safely trim nails, even on the aggressive one (to which we had to cover her head (pictured)) no person or cat was harmed while using this, used for bath time, definitely cleaned them, product itself I just threw in the washer and hang dried.Con: the fixtures aren’t as steadfast as we would like but 2 simple and loose double knots after the adjustable pieces served to fix this problem.

Some things to know
I bought this product specifically to use on a very not water friendly cat. I have yet to use it on her, but I did test it out on my water loving cat.Usage:-It is super easy to use. Just slip it over the cats head and it tighten the adjustable straps around the neck, shoulders, waist, and end.-My male cat is a little larger so I left his tail hanging out at the end so he would be more comfortable(He specifically needed his legs washed and not so much his body so in reality the bag prevented me to do that well)-Applying the shampoo was easy, but you will need to use more than you typically do to ensure that you get it all over your cat.-I did have to rinse him several times to get the shampoo out. I eventually took him out of the bag to do one last rinse to make sure I got it all off of him(If you use conditioner on your cat I would recommend switching to a spray on than a paste to be rinsed)Usage issues:-the handle was actually a lot sturdier than I expected, but I would not rely or recommend using it as your main way of carrying or holding.-If you are wanting to bath your cat to help with shedding issues the bag prevents any hair from leaving and just moves it around on the cat.-If you are wanting to bath the cats legs or feet there is a little zipper in the front to get the front legs, but you will have to unharness the back half of the bag to do the cats back legs.-The stings that are used to tighten the bag are stings on a guys bathing suit. They do not have any knots in them or a way to stop them from coming out of the clamps that hold the strings in place. Just be aware for when you are loosening and tightening that the strings could come out of the plastic clamps. They are not hard at all to string back through the clamp, but it is a little difficult with wet soapy hands.Over all it does what it says it does, easy to use it value holds, and the bag itself is easy to clean. It dries pretty quickly. I will add to my review after I bath the not so bath friendly cat.

If you have a calm cat it works great, if you have a cat that is not calm, it won’t work. Some of my friends absolutely love it.You just have to try it for yourself

Traumatizes cats
If you read some of the positive reviews on this, youâll find negative comments within a lot of them. Iâm not sure why some of the people who werenât impressed with this product gave it such positive reviews.Unless you want to make your cat feel like they were chained & thrown in the river to drown, donât buy this. Ever. I purchased this with the hope it would prevent my cat from scratching & biting me during his 2nd ever bath in the 6 months Iâve had him, & it did, but I wouldnât call it a thorough cleaning, & it wasnât without a fight. The only reason I wasnât scratched & bitten through the mesh was because I had to hold him by the scruff of his neck. The adjusters donât always hold, so first my cat escaped & leaped, soaking wet, across the bathroom. He was covered in soap, so I knew I had to put him back in order to rinse him off. This time, the adjusters held somewhat, but it started to strangle him. I loosened it, but as my cat flailed his legs & entire body, he ended up getting his head caught inside the bag. I had to delicately try to pull his head back through without getting clawed or bitten. It also didnât make cleaning any easier, as the cat curls up inside it, & you canât get to their whole body through the mesh. I couldnât tell if all the soap was gone, & I know his underside didnât get washed. My cat was so terrified, he was screaming, crying, foaming at the mouth, & absolutely terrified. He is fine now after spending the rest of the day hiding inside my box spring, & surprisingly, doesnât hate me, but I worry this experience may have traumatized him on baths for life. I feel horribly guilty & wish Iâd never bought it.

Great for medication time
This made medication time so much easier. My little guy hated his nightly injection. He would scream, growl, scratch, and bite me. Then I tried this ridiculous looking bag. My little buddy was calm the entire time. He even purred. He didnât even want to get out of the bag when we were finished. Itâs easy to give injections through the mesh.

Great idea and if you have a normal cat or even a mildly cranky one. I can see it being very successful. However if you have a hand reared, feral who is old and beyond cranky then best not try. That’s all I need to say. Not at all the products fault.
