Great Puppy Food
My Lab puppy has done well on this food. It is a good price and good quality food. I buy from Amazon a lot when my other source is out of stock. I was disappointed with Amazon after my last order, instead of the Prime truck delivering the food it was sent by USPS and took longer to arrive.

Nature’s Recipe Dog Food. My dog ate it!
My large German Shepherd has been quite the picky eater lately, so I’ve been on the hunt for a premium dog food that he’ll enjoy. We only feed him high-quality brands and avoid corn, so when I came across this premium brand, I decided to give it a try. I’m happy to report that he devoured his entire bowl and seemed thoroughly satisfied with the taste. I plan to stick with this brand for a while and will update my review later to see if it remains his go-to choice long-term. For now, I’m pleased to have found something that meets our high standards and pleases our finicky pup!

good food good price, and dog is doing well.
I have a big Plott hound, really big for the breed. (slim 75 pounds) He eats as he pleases, it is always fully available. After dogs and cats get used to the idea that they can eat as much or as little as they need, the manitain a helathy weight for the rest of their lives, but Veterinarians hate this practice. We have done this since 1985 and we have had no problems. Except one time we got a super skinny cat from the pound and he got fat like Garfield during the first year, he then slimmed down and stayed a healthy weight for the next 21 years. He was not fat or thin, but just right. I like the 24 pound bag because I can easily handle it. I pour it into a dispenser about once a month. The animal’s waste is healthy UNLESS somebody gives him other things to eat. I like this food for my dog. yes it is a little stinky on the day when I fill the container, but after the first 2 days, I don’t notice it and neither do others who visit.

Do NOT buy if itâs not Grain Free!!!!
We have 4 dogs, two of which are black labs. They have a completely different coat than our outside, country guard dogs, so we are very picky about what to feed them.We switched to Natureâs Recipe Grain Free dog food several months ago, and that product is fantastic in regards to filling them up and keeping a nice, shiny coat. Last month I thought Iâd try a new flavor for them, and I picked the Original, thinking it was also grain free. That was 1000% my fault!! Last month our dogs started itching like crazy! To the point of biting their hair out! I showered them with prescription shampoo, added coconut oil to their good, tried a daily egg, added a natural vitamin E oil to their coats, started them on daily Zyrtec, and occasionally gave them a Benadryl, for their sanity and ours to be honest.When our dog food started getting low, I took the almost empty bag out of our pantry, and thatâs when it finally hit me!!! It was the f*ing food! I felt like a damn jerk!! They have been absolutely miserable day/night, and even the vet visit didnât bring up thoughts about their food.This companyâs GRAIN FREE food is great and we will continue to buy it! But if I were you, I would not ever, ever but this product again, nor would I even donate it or feed it to a stray!The pics were taken about 2 1/2 weeks in after starting the Original food.The itching almost completely subsided 4-5 after going back to the GRAIN FREE!!I hope this review saves someone else and their fur babies from having to go through this!!

My dog is turning 10 this year. Had him since he was 3 months old. I was just 21 myself! He has always been fed great quality food and I always added rotation time to time. Even cooked for him throughout the years. Thank God my dog is not a picky eater so I’m never worried. But to the point of the story I was looking for a great quality dog with grain. Switching back from grain free. I’ve noticed a lot of people in my life are getting dogs now and feeding them grain free and the dogs are super young developing all types of health issues. Of course, a lot of other factors may be involved. My dog had this food back then before, but now it’s convenient to get it on Amazon and even at some supermarkets. It’s a 4.5 rating dog food on major dog food review websites and the price point is perfect.

Disappointed in last 2 bags
Order this many time but the last 2 bags have so many broken pieces it is just dust in the bad and it equals over 2 cup. My dog loves the food but am going to try another brand
