Worm replacements
Our axolotl started refusing worms, this has been the replacement for well over a year. She will catch them if dropped above her but she is also able to find them, by smell I’m guessing, if they are just placed in tank. Size varies but the largest ones make feeding easier.

Someone recommended these to me, theyâre the only pellets iâve had for my axolotl that sheâll eat, seems like theyâre easy for her to sniff out. Usually she has absolutely zero interest in pellets, so this was an incredible surprise.

Theyâre alright.
My axolotl is 3 years old and these seem to be too big for him. Iâm not sure what the issue is but I struggle to get him to eat these but he ate the small ones fine. These are much easier to pick up with tweezers though, which I like. I always have issues with the food getting hard so I put them in an airtight container.

I love this brand. They are the perfect size. My Axolotyls love these and others they have not liked. You get a good amount for your money. They last as you donât have to feed them a lot to get my little guys full.

Our Lotls Love this food
I have ordered so many brands of Axolotl pellets and these seem to be our Lotlâs favorite. I use to order the smaller ones but as our guys grew we upgraded to the bigger bites. Our shrimp love these too. Win win! I just wish they sold them in larger bags.These are always fresh moist and ready to feed right out of the bag. Our Lotls seem to go right to them vs other brands that we need to guide them to. Great for axolotls!

Great food that my axolotls love
I have 2 full grown axolotls that exclusively eat this brand. I did wait until they were around 1.5 years old to feed the Big Bites, as I’ve always had a fear of them choking. They seem to really like this food, although they will spit out pieces that they think are too big. I just then split those in half and they gladly eat them up. I don’t think that’s a reflection of the food, but is a result of my babying them their whole lives, lol. I’ve been really happy with this food and will always repurchase it.
