An abundance of toys can go a long way in filling the gap between owner companionship, so pets are not too bored when they are alone. When they have these toys, they will play happily and will not become frantic, depressed, mentally unstable, self-injurious, or even aggressive towards their owners due to lack of playmates. These toys exercise the parrot’s leg muscles, improve their physical health, train their behavior, and make them act smarter.

Entertaining product!
I purchased this toy for my Green wing macaw. She Loves it! The metal cups “clanging” together keep her entertained and have been a great addtion to our toy collection!

Not for large parrots
This bird toy is not for large parrots. The charms are drilled into small wooden dowels, that my Umbrella Cockatoo would have destroyed in a matter of minutes and charms will be lost in the bottom of the cage. I will redo the toy with pvc pipe and redrill the small holes and try to rework entire toy. The charms are cute, and I think the bird would enjoy them if it was not anchored in wood.

Good quality parrot toy, but smaller than claimed
This is a good quality toy and appropriate for parrots that love to destroy their toys. It’s made of various metal items (measuring spoons, bells, charms, rings, skeleton keys) attached to 2 lengths of wooden dowel using eyelets and rings. My African Grey enjoys toys like this because they make a jingly clanging noise when she attacks them. I like this toy a lot but am a bit disappointed because it’s smaller than claimed in the listing. The photo in the listing shows the length of the toy from the top of the upper dowel to the bottom of the toy to be 10.2 inches. The actual length is 8 inches (there is another 3.5 inches of chain and clip above the dowel). If this toy were of the claimed size, it would rate 5 stars.

Awesome
My bird loves this toy! She was yanking on the spools and making it clank within seconds of my placing it in her cage.

Not recommend for macaws
my parrots destroyed it very fast, the chain was way to thin for macaws they could get a piece of chain apart and swallow it and so be carful.

Not for parrots!
This didn’t even last a day before it broke into 3 pieces and my bird fell to the bottom of the cage and hurt herself. She wasn’t hanging on it — she was playing with it from her perch. It also has sharp pieces, which is horrible considering it’s all metal. I definitely do not suggest for parrots, and I wouldn’t even suggest it for any bird because of the sharp pieces.

Dangerous!
I bought two of them. My two parrots tore them apart in minutes. There are screws that if swallowed is a disaster. I am not even sure they are safe for small birds. Too many rings, screws, and parts a bird can swallow or get a toe stuck in. Dangerous!
