Very helpful!
This worked so well after Miss Piggie had her eye removal surgery! I had a hard time finding a cone that fit her and actually kept her from scratching, and I’m so thankful I came across this one. The drawstring was a life saver and the material didn’t irritate her skin. I’d buy this again in a heartbeat!

Elvis has a wound he continued to nibble on and it was not healing. I purchased multiple protection cones and returned them all as none of them worked for him. He continued to nibble and his wound was not healing. I finally tried this protection cone and it works perfectly!! I went ahead and bought another one(just in case).

Small fits large rat
Well made fabric comfy cone for small animals. I have a XL male rat with a wound that he keeps fussing with so I had to search for a cone that would fit (surprisingly hard to find).This one is well made for what it is and barely fits since heâs very large. I did cut the string in half to prevent him from getting a foot stuck which is why I deducted a star.He hasnât been able to remove it and seems to be comfortable with it on besides the initial stress that comes with not having full access to groom or use his paws to hold food.

Doesnt work for Rabbits — possibly dangerous
First and foremost, the drawstring is a terrible idea. Within a few minutes my rabbit got her front leg caught in it and panicked, I was barely able to get it off of her because she was just thrashing around. I cut off the string so it was just Velcro (this is better IMO, it will just undo itself if they get caught and not choke them), but once the cone inverted itself, she was still able to lick her back foot, which was the whole reason I purchased it. My rabbit is a dwarf mix, she weighs 4lbs and is not very big. If you have an animal this size or bigger the cone won’t keep them from getting to their back legs or tummy.

Too Big for Rat
Unfortunately, my rat was able to slip this off pretty easily after a tumor removal surgery. The cone itself did stop her from accessing the incision (front right arm pit), but it wasn’t small enough to keep her from getting it off. She’s an average size for a female rat at 17 oz, so this may work for males or other larger small mammals.She was able to eat and drink with this on because it’s soft. However, she still hated it as all animals do.I’m still giving this three stars because it works well outside of being a touch too big. It feels durable so I’ll definitely be keeping it for future use on bigger animals.

Great cone for pet rats!
I love this cone for my pet rat! Sheâs fairly small (about 360 grams), so I was worried the small size wouldnât fit her, but it did! A perfect fit, and it helps that the cone is adjustable to make sure itâs extra snug on her. The cone is a little less sturdy than I would have pictured; however, this worked out well, at least in my case, because it allowed my rat to get in and out of her huts without hurting herself. It was just big enough to prevent her from chewing at a lesion on the base of her tail, which is why I got it for her! Overall, it got the job done, is easy to hand-wash/dry, and looks super cute!

Bought for my ferret
It looks cute and the size looked like it was perfect for my ferret. The materialIs easy to clean and itâs lightweight.The down side is the reason why I had to return it- my ferret kept slipping it off. It wouldnât stay put and the string that is on it, if you pull it too much thereâs this loop that your pet can get caught in. Great idea but around the base, being no slip resistant material like rubber like they make on cats and dog cones, I wasnât able to successfully use it.

For hamsters and guinea pigs
These are not for rabbits, so please don’t get for them. They work for hamsters and guinea pigs, but you have to tape smaller for BOTH species. My vet had these, but they’re a better deal here.
