Just what I wanted!
This cat tree is so cute! It is the anchor of my rescue catâs Cat Lounge area in the living room. I will NEVER buy another boxy cat tree covered in meh beige carpet again!This tree is cute and says âplantâ in a vague way (is it a newly budding tree? A cactus? Yes!) that looks especially good with my decor but would work well in most rooms.The tree was very easy to assemble but there were issues.My ceilings are about 10 feet but the little nook I put it in is about 8-9â. The tree almost didnât fit. I had to do a fair amount of fussing with the end piece and probably ended up scraping the âceilingâ part of the nook to get it in just right. I donât think it would have reached the full ceiling height in the living room without an extra long screw in piece at that top.The end piece is at its very limit in the nook and I feel the tree wouldnât have been very stable if I hadnât wedged it in. I also used the included stabilizer strap and screwed that into the wall for extra stability. Itâs still a bit shaky.I also quickly stitched in the loose âhammockâ ring based off of other comments and just observing my cat getting in and out of it (she loves to sleep there.) I could see how it might be knocked about and be unseated from the hole causing a surprise fall for kitty. It just gave me piece of mind to secure the ring to the hole.My cat loves, loves, loves this tree and it is just now, after 4 months (+/- a month or 2) shown some wear. The soft green carpet part of the âtrunkâ is more of a boucle than the typical tight loop carpet material and it is tearing a bit. I think I will get some green sisal rope and cover it with that.For being under $100, I think the value of this tree is excellent. I have spent more for far less quality trees over the years. It has met and exceeded my expectations. Having said this, I would like to recognize that those with more rambunctious cats, multiple cats, or more Rubenesque cats might find this tree less than adequate.This tree works for my single adult (5yo) cat of average size and temperament. That I can say for sure. Also, so stinking cute! Try it, you might like it!

Impressive for price, best for smaller cats
Just stood this up five minutes ago, so sheâs too involved with the squirrels outside to realize she can climb up LOL, but here are my impressions:- very good quality and modern style looks nice in our living room – no gross cheap carpet, very well-finished with no rough edges. The fabric is very soft and nicely wrapped on the bottom of each level, so even from below it looks nice. Yes, you can see the seams on the round posts where the fabric is joined, but barely – if it bothers you, just screw them in so the seam faces the wall.- easy to assemble – maybe 10 minutes – though for optimal strength and security, youâll want to turn the posts really really tight, and for that youâll need some strength or help from someone who has it. If you have arthritis, for example, youâll want some help.- youâll need a step stool or ladder to place the tree with the tension rod, because you will need to be able to use one hand to pull the tension rod top down while you stand the tree upright, and then release it to hold it in place.- the L bracket I couldnât figure out how to use, as the hole for the bracket is about 6â from the edge of the platform, but the L bracket is only 2â long. It would benefit from having the reinforcement, so my suggestion is to plan to buy a longer L bracket from the hardware store, or perhaps use another method to secure it, e.g., using a short piece of rope to secure it with an eye hook in the wall.- our cat is 7lbs. and sheâs the perfect size for the tree. Our cat who just passed was 21â long, and she wouldnât have been able to lay anywhere on the tree.All in all, Iâm incredibly pleased with the quality of the tree for the price – just fantastic.(I know everyone hates on products made in China, but there shouldnât be any complaints about this one, considering the $59 price and what you get.)

Better than others
Honestly out of the box it is very impressive. Better quality materials than most others use. Super easy to assemble and attches to the celing perfect. I wanted to give this thing a 5 star review but it is super important that I point out a MAJOR flaw! The top scoop type bed is a ring that sits in a loop that hangs out from the tree. This unit is VERY unstable and not only is it able to easily fall out but is also at the highest point on the tower. I fixed this with my staple gun on the fabric to hold it in but my kitties could have got hurt if the situation played out right. All is well now though, and with the top scoop bed in place and STABLE, this is a premo cat tower for a very fair price.

Easy to assemble and the cats loved it!
Update: cats still love it and itâs been sturdy despite all the climbing and playing on it. ONLY warning I would make is that if your kitty plays like a spaz, you might find yourself putting the fabric hammock bowl back in place often. Would love to have it come with snaps or something to secure it.Only been up for a few days but our kitties donât seem to want to get down. Seems to be a stable design, though we havenât used the attached wall strap for added security yet (wanted to make sure we loved the location first). Easy to assemble (though our cats were using it as I built it so that slowed things down). Felt a little like I wasnât able to tighten everything because the pole pieces with just carpet/fabric isnât fully glued everywhere so when you twist the whole piece onto one of the bolts, the fabric gives a bit. But once itâs all together, it seemed very sturdy. Great addition to our front porch for the price. I LOVE that it takes up a small floor print in comparison to our other large cat tree. Our house isnât tiny but it is still on the smaller side. If your cats love to climb, two of these over another ânormalâ large cat condo/tree would be my choice any day. Place near a favorite window and the cats will love it.

Sadly this wonât last anywhere humid. It got mould within a month of installation, which is horrifically dangerous for cats.
