Just as pictured
Worked well feeding our green cheek baby. I had no problems at all with tubing coming loose from syringe.

Keep one on hand.
Same quality as the one my vet gave me when my parrot was ill (he’s fine now). Bird owners should keep one of these stashed away just in case. The spoon attachment is handy if your bird refuses to allow you to squirt directly into their beaks.

Good spoon, could use more
I’m am all set when I rescue another baby dove, which I seem to get a lot of. I’m looking forward to trying the spoon head to feed with. In the past, I’ve had to make my own wide head and tape it onto the front of a syringe, so this is a huge advancement for me. It’s so small that I have concerns about losing it, so I wish that this set came with at least three spoons. Also, it feels as if the spoon could fall off, so I wish it would attach more securely in case an overly eager chick dislodges it. When they’re hungry, they just reach out blindly and can get pretty rowdy. I don’t happen to have any chicks right now, so I’m not sure if this concern is founded , but overall, I’m looking forward to using the spoon-tipped syringe with my next rescue.

Rubber tip falls off plunger and sticks in the tube.
This worked great for about 3 days, then the rubber tip started pulling off the plunger when I would retract it. Now it won’t go back on and is just stuck in the bottom of the tube. I can’t get it to go back on the plunger. Off to buy something different.

PRODUCT IS DANGEROUS
I attempted to feed my baby grey with the spoon attached to the syringe. In taking the food he pulled off the spoon and swallowed it. Luckily and with great difficulty myself and the bird dealer were able to extricate the spoon from the bird’s crop, averting a potentially more serious outcome. This product should not be on the market. A warning should be provided to all users as to the fact that the spoon detaches so easily. No one should use this product to feed a baby bird.

Cette petite cuillère est magique pour mourir mes bébés.

I read a review before buying saying that they used it 3 days perfectly until the black rubber part of the Plunger popped off and got stuck. Sure enough at the end of day 3 just that happened! Now I have hungry baby cockatiels as I rush into stores in search of a feeding syringe. Do not buy without a back up

This food syringe spoon seems to work pretty good. I have a bunch of cockatiel babies and they are loving grabbing the spoon and sucking back the food. Some of my babies are a bit more messier or too slow so I like that it comes with 2 sizes of tubes that you can put down their crop and fill it up. This way they take less air in and still get a good solid meal. I am happy with it, just wish it came with more but I will just have to order a second set. Very affordable to change it out as needed for a new one each clutch of babies. It comes with a 20 ML syringe but the tips also fit my 10 ML syringe I already have at home.
