The Amoise Folding 2-Step Stool is a fantastic addition to my home. It’s lightweight yet incredibly sturdy, making it a go-to tool for everything from reaching high shelves to helping my toddler wash her hands. Here’s my detailed review:Pros:Dual Heights for Versatility:The 8-inch and 17-inch step options make this stool versatile for a variety of tasks. Whether I’m reaching the top shelf in the kitchen or using the lower step for small jobs, it’s incredibly practical.Sturdy and Durable:Despite its lightweight design, this stool holds up to 250 lbs with ease. I feel completely secure standing on it, and it doesn’t wobble or shift, even on tiled floors.Non-Slip Design:The non-slip surface on both steps provides excellent grip, which is crucial for safety, especially when using it in the kitchen or bathroom. The rubber feet keep it stable, even on smooth surfaces.Folds Easily for Storage:The collapsible design makes it easy to fold flat and store in small spaces. I can tuck it away in a closet or even slide it between the fridge and the wall.Lightweight and Portable:At just a few pounds, it’s easy to carry from room to room or even take with me when I need a step stool on the go. The perfect toddler stool?
My kids are short. We have a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old. They both struggle to reach the sink with most step stools. I was on the hunt for the perfect step stool for handwashing.The $100+ wooden ones all have a major flaw which is this massive cross bar at the top of the A-frame that blocks their view and reach, making them all but useless for little kids.I was at my parent’s house and discovered the Range Kleen 2 step folding stool and realized it was PERFECT. The only issue is the cost ($80) and it is very wide.This stool ended up being a great alternative to the Range Kleen version. It is light but sturdy, easy to setup and move around, and gets the kids 18” of height – perfect for handwashing. No it does not have sides like most toddler stools but kids need to learn how to fall and 18” is not that high. My kids haven’t fallen off the sides yet in 4+ months of use in 2 bathrooms (we bought 2).Keep in mind does take 5-10 seconds and a few manipulations to make it fold flat. The more expensive Range Kleen 2 step stool folds MUCH easier in a fraction of a second with the pull handle. This stool is also narrower than the Range Kleen, which is a benefit for us given small bathroom space.Overall if you need width and plan to open and close it often (I.e store it folded), go with the $80 Range Kleen stool.If you’re looking for a sturdy toddler stool that you plan to leave out (without folding), this thing is GREAT.My seemingly endless search for the perfect toddler stool has now come to an END!

I use this in my camper for reaxing items in upper cabinets and also in the back bunkroom for the kids ro get into the top bunk it folds away for easy storage, very sturdy.

I love the tiny size and sturdiness of this step stool! It takes a couple of tries to realize how to open and close it quickly, and there’s easy instruction stickers right on the product to guide you. So nice to not have the bulky step stool in my pantry anymore!
