It’s good dirt.
It’s just what it says on the package. My leopard geckos love it (I mix it with other kinds of dirt and sand).

Dragon likes it
I cannot speak for my bearded dragon. But judging by the mess that is inside of her habitat, I think she likes it.

Perfect for my project
Perfect for bearded dragon enclosures! Fun to build, strong once dry, and easy to take apart if needed.

Easy to use, gets the job done
Stella is happy with her mix of this excavator sand, play sand and top soil.It was easy to mix, add to the cage, and it dried quickly enough for her to use. I wish I had purchased more, but it is expensive compared to other products.

The number one choice for clay substrate in a leopard gecko tank
Despite being difficult to obtain, this clay is the one and only choice for leopard geckos. Base layer of clay, top with grasses, logs, mosses, etc as needed.

Not bad I like it not anything special
Don’t just dump the water into the mix pour the water in a spray bottle and then spray the mix tell the surface is damp then mix it then repeat tell disered I make sure I can grab a hand full squeeze it and it holds it shape then I don’t one last time and to re do what you did just repeat the process

Don’t Underestimate Your project
It took three bags of Excavator Clay to achieve this look . My goal was to go around the whole cage And give my Chinese water dragon some different levels to get to Her UVB and basking lights . If you have a big project in mind like I did I would definitely recommend getting at least 6 to 10 bags For a cage that’s 4 by 6 foot And that’s just To give it a more organic look I would do More bags if you’re trying to do shelving And layering . Also the substance isn’t the easiest to deal with it can get messy so I would advise laying down a tarp under your work surface for easy cleanup .

This turned out to be better than I imagined. Quite easy to mix up & shape. What I, and my dragon, love most about it is how natural it is after it’s dry. He can dig at it as if it is dried dirt outside. He loves basking on top and hiding in his tunnel. The only thing is I needed about 4 bags of the stuff to cover the entire tank and build the corner.

Had never used this stuff before but itâs neat! Youâre able to sculpt very easily and you can just reconstitute it with water if you need to reform it. My lizard approves ð
