Great product! I still haven’t figured out why it happened as I have been doing the same routine on my freshwater aquarium for the past 8 years. I woke up one morning and my tank was so cloudy I could barely see my plants in the background. Tried multiple water changes, cleaned and replaced canister filters, tried a couple of other water “clarifier solutions” but 3 weeks later, still cloudy. Started using this stuff and 3 days later, voila! Beautiful, clear water. I’m now a frequent buyer.

It’s a bacterial blend all right. Seems to be much nicer than other ones I’ve used in terms of total species included and shelf life. Used when helping recover filtration on new larger tank after medication. Mostly killed off my decade old cycle 🙁 . Never got to nitrite showing levels of die off but this helped in recovery for sure. Shouldn’t need to regularly add more like they mention, especially if the cycle is established. The instructions are definitely wack. Otherwise solid blend, nitrates are rising at expected levels and waste and detritus is being broken down almost at original efficiency. I’m sure having a backup cycle did some of the lifting though lol. This will be my future go to recommendation to friends when starting a new tank.

This product arrived just over 24hrs ago and I am really impressed with it. Its several different strains of helpful, safe bacteria in a bottle. So won’t harm fish, coral, sponges, anemones, worms etc or the bacteria in your live rock and filter.After a small water change and quick syphon of the really bad parts of my sand I used this as directed on the bottle (remember to turn protein skimmer off for 4 hours). I did this late at night so went to bed.The following morning I woke up to a pristine tank.. it looked brand new inside! Water looked clearer, fish looked brighter and corals etc looked healthier. I was recommended this by a friend to use alongside Microbacter Clean regularly and their tank is now crystal clean and healthy. So will definitely be using this for the foreseeable..
