Seems a good quality with the extras. The sponges work great on there own. I like using both hang on back and sponges. I just can’t get away from charcoal. Easy to put together. I really like these.

Decent Sponge Filter, But Not Without Flaws
Good product, but there are some quality issues. I got everything I needed, but the sponge arrived smushed. I used hot water to restore its shape. The air stone is a bit wonky. This sponge filter isnât weightedâitâs designed to use the included bio media to keep it down, so you canât use just any bio media. I wanted to use some Seachem Matrix so I filled up the bottom portion with small aquarium gravel to weigh it down.

Overall great especially for the price. 1 check valve didn’t work though
As the headline says, these are great. Comes with everything you need but the air pump, hooked up easily, and have been doing a good job of keeping my tank clean and aerated. My only complaint is one of the check valves was stuck closed inside, so couldn’t be used. That’s a cheap and tiny part though and I had spares, so no big deal.

These are massive
These are really big and I like the ceramic media I the middle… But there is no weight. Even after soaking and squeezing out the air in the sponges I’m going to be gluing weights to them so the stay on the bottom
