these worked well for us! durable
I ordered these out of desperation for our horse who was getting destroyed by mosquitoes and flies (we live in South Louisiana. August is not a fun month in the pasture.) I had never used boots before, but was desperate. I ordered these after reading reviews and they ended up working well for us! He ended up losing 2 of them about a week after I put them on him. But I call that a win! I will find them and put them back on him if necessary. They went on very easily. stayed up rather well (they of course fell a little bit, but overall they covered the lower portion of his leg which is where he was getting bit the most) and they were brown from mud by the end of the week. Even with all the wear, they stayed on for 7 days and I will definitely be using them regularly from now on. I recommend and would definitely buy these again! I plan to order a few more sets to have as backups.

Good Value
My PercheronX has had issues with bug bites and scratches (such as most drafts with feathers) so I decided to give these a try. They fit her great and as long as you put them on correctly, they do not fall down. She has been wearing these for night turnout for the past two weeks with no issues and finally no new bug bites! Definitely recommend!

Good but fragile
My horse is not difficult and does not normally destroy things thankfully. But sadly within a month of having these theyâre already ripped. They wonât stay up on the back legs like I hope. My horse has suspensory issues so these helped but within two weeks they started sagging and now theyâre ripped. 🙁 Itâs so hard to find good boots for her back legs. These are not sturdy. Like I said, my horse is nice to her things and still they ripped. Canât imagine a horse that loves to destroy their clothes lol.

Held up well
They lasted as long as I expected them to. Stayed up on his legs and didnât fall down. Just ripped from normal wear and tear.

Do Not Stay Up, Tight Elastic
The top and bottom are tight elastic. They do not stay up. Do not buy.

Worth the price
I’ve had these boots a little over a month now and so far they’ve done good, no tears or rips, easy to take on and off, and comfortable for the horse. As others have said once the Velcro is dirty it doesn’t like to stick, but if you throw them in a washer on delicate and cold water then hang dry they go right back to normal. I’ve been doing this about once a week on them as my gelding is quite messy. This gelding is a 16hh 4 y/o QH. He’s been wearing them about 12 hrs a day everyday since I got them because of how bad the flys were. So far no more bites and sores on his legs since he’s had them.

They stay up and on well so far.
I have never used fly boots before but decided this might be better than constantly spraying and the horses are still stomping Flys. I bought this set on Amazon Prime sale day and put them on one of my mares.. she wears them 24/7 and so far they are staying on and she has quit stomping. I am totally happy as the mesh is strong enough to stay up and the velcro is working fine. They fit loose enough to not bother the horse . Will be happy if they last another month and they actually still look like new.Well, over a month later and these boots are still staying on and in good shape. Very happy and will order another set for mare #2.

Amazing fly boots
I love these fly boots! Iâve tried other styles that end up falling down and become very tight around the horses legs. These are great because they stay up on their own and are mesh so you can see your horses legs if they are swollen or have a cut. They are very loose fitting and breathable. I donât have to worry about them falling down and becoming too tight around the horses legs. The Velcro is strong but if a horse were to get their leg stuck would rip apart. These are awesome and my horse is much happier! The large fits my 15.1 h tb horse very well.

I have used these for at least 2 seasons and they have held up decent. I wash them frequently and they dry quickly. They aren’t perfect as they do sometimes get squished down and out of shape, but they fit my horse well and I don’t worry about them constricting blood flow. I think they have gone up in price. so I probably won’t replace them right away.
