Ideal for stables and during transportation, this haylage net is made with durable materials to withstand daily use and help extend the lifespan of haylage.

Haylage NetHaylage Net

Durable Construction: Made from tough, high-quality materials designed to hold up to daily use. The net can endure the weight of haylage without tearing or stretching.

Fine Mesh Design: The fine mesh holes are perfect for slowing down your horse’s grazing, reducing the risk of overeating, and helping to improve digestion. This design also minimizes wastage, keeping more haylage in the net and off the floor.

Encourages Slower Feeding: Slower, more natural feeding is encouraged due to the small mesh holes, which prevent the horse from eating too quickly. This helps with better digestion and reduces boredom in the stable.

Perfect for Haylage: Specifically tailored for haylage, the net allows for easy storage and feeding of this moist type of forage, without the worry of it becoming too wet or dirty in the stable.

Easy to Use: The large opening makes it easy to fill the net with haylage, and the secure closure ensures the haylage stays inside.

Versatile: Suitable for stables, paddocks, or transportation, this haylage net is a versatile choice for keeping your horse fed and content, whether at home or on the move.

    Very nice! I Highly recommend
I’ve ordered other nets (for like 2/3x the price of these) and they’re either bulky or flimsy, or a boring color. These are very nice nets! I was expecting them to be a littleee wider in dimension. But, they hold a good amount of hay. And they seem to be holding up well with my horses that like to rough house their hay nets. Will be buying again.

    A MAJOR HAY SAVER!!
I was recently told that my 2 horses should have access to hay 24 hours — never knew that after all these years! But how do I assure they have hay through the night? I gave them 2-3 flakes late in the evening but so much was wasted. They scatter it around, urinate or poop on it and more than half of it was trashed. The hay nets were recommended to me and they are the greatest! I purchased two, then bought two more. No more worrying they’ll run out during the day while I’m at work — or overnight! They eat the small amount of hay that drops from the bag — and they enjoy pulling the hay from the nets. It gives them something to do, less time standing around looking bored because they are in a dry lot. I love these bags — very inexpensive — very, very durable, easy to use — couldn’t be more pleased.

Sturdy, efficient, relatively easy to use
I use this to feed my two standard donkeys. It holds plenty of hay and the small mesh keeps them occupied longer and with less waste than other hay nets I have used. It is well made and sturdy, and outlasts other nets. I bought a second net so I can rotate them. Swapping a full net for the empty one makes feeding quick and easy. It’s shape and stiffness make it easier to fill than most nets, but I still like to use a 30 gallon can to stretch the opening while I stuff the hay in.

Better quality than I thought for the price.
I already owned a fancy expensive hay bag and one cheap hay net before purchasing this net. Not as easy to load as bag, though I can’t imagine any net that would be. This net was about $6-7 more than the cheap net I recently purchased. The mild winters recently have really lengthened mud season year and although I like to feed hay outside in my paddock, I hate to see it wasted in mud or trampled in moist ground. The net is a decent enough size so I can fill it with at least 10 pounds of hay. The string that is used to hang the net is a decent thickness. I’d love the rest of the net to be that thick, though it is ok. The openings are too small for my 15.2 h horse to get his hooves into if it’s slipped low enough for him to paw at. I never felt as if nylon nets were very secure when using quick release knot and this holds true for this net although I wouldn’t say that it’s any worse than any other nylon net. I throw this over a tree branch on non windy days. I use a carabiner attached to the tie string and clip it onto part of the bottom of the net. I know quick release knots are recommended to tie it with though I honestly feel my horse is safer with the net secured so I can’t come down for him to get caught in. I also have numerous things nearby that can cut through it in an emergency, including something that would easily grab and cut the net with no risk to cutting him. I do like that the net fairly easily pulls down over the sides of a clean muck bucket to make filling it much easier. Think of the hay net being a trash bag liner and the muck being the trashcan. I liked rope hay nets because they felt secure an attached with a quick release not, though they seem to retain a lot of dirt. as of right now I would purchase this again and even considering purchasing another so I can leave one full ready to go.

    Best haynet out there!
My previous purchase of this haynet was several years ago and it’s still in use! There are a few areas my horse has finally made the hole larger so I felt time for a new one. Love the slow feed idea, less hay wasting in the stall, the amount it will hold and how sturdy it is. Purchased one from a big chain feed store and promptly returned as it was no where near the quality. Worth spending the extra $4.00

    Very small, Low quality
I had ordered from this company before and got the blue and black hut. They were awesome, big with a ring on the bottom. When I ordered the colored ones, they were about half the size with no ring on the bottom made much cheaper very disappointed, but by the time I used them, I missed the return window.

    Mischief Managed!
I was about to order a couple of haychix nets on clearance but thought “might as well check Amazon first…” Found these nets with great reviews at a MUCH more affordable price so I figured we’d give them a shot! They are awesome! I’ll update this if they end up falling apart but after a week of use they seem extremely durable and just the right amount of stretch. Our girls were wasting so much hay with the Weaver hay bags (what you see on the ground in the picture is from before switching) but these definitely cut down on that. They can’t pull out huge mouthfuls at a time so they drop less of it. Not to mention it slows them down as advertised and reduces their boredom so they have less time and motive to get into trouble.
