Great monitor
I have been using this since my baby was born. Although there is like a one second delay on the feed, itâs clear enough to see my baby breathing and his movement. The night vision is great as well and have no issues with the audio. The menu is also easy to navigate when switching between cameras. I also like the ability to turn the camera from the monitor is case my baby is on the move. I would buy again if anything happened to mine.

Great Monitor!
This vtech monitor is so nice. We previously had an older version that was smaller and only had one camera that didnât pan or tilt, so this is definitely an upgrade! Our other Vtech was very durable and Iâm hoping this will be too. I love the huge screen! We bought this since weâre going to have another baby soon and will have one in our room and a toddler in her own room. Iâm excited to see what itâs like once we use both cameras, but the view range on this is pretty great and shows most of our daughterâs room. The sound seems good and the temperature sensor is much more accurate than our older Vtech. The only thing I wish was different is the stand part for the monitor. I wish it had more of a kickstand or something because it does fall over easily, but thatâs a small issue for the quality youâre getting!

I purchased this for my niece at her request. She has been using it for a week now and her only complaint is the battery life. Otherwise, functionality has met her expectations. It appears durable, well made, easy to use and the perfect size for her setup. Value wise, I would say it is comparable to others on the market with similar functionality. It is what I expected from a VTech product.

Decent for the price
For the price itâs an okay monitor. The picture quality for night mode isnât great and makes it hard to tell if my kid has woken up or not. The stand for the parent unit isnât as good as our previous VTech baby monitor, which was great. This one is constantly falling over. My biggest complaint is that when on the split screen, it always detects noise from one of the cameras when there isnât any noise and makes a loud annoying alert sound. I figured out how to turn the alert noise off, but it will still switch the parent unit to monitoring the noise in the room detected which is frustrating when I have it set to monitor the room that I want and if Iâm sleeping I wonât know that the monitor has changed rooms. I tried all the trouble shooting for the camera to not pickup noise so easily and it didnât help so unfortunately Iâll just have to deal with it.Battery life is great! I also love that the volume buttons are on the parent unit instead of having to go to the screen settings like some other monitors weâve used.

This video monitor is wonderful. The video is clear, the audio is good, and the fact that you can move the video sensor from the remote to pan around the room is terrific. The signal is good everywhere in our house and even in the yard. I like that it has its own monitor, so donât have to use my phone. Plug it in, turn it on and it is ready to use. Super easy. Highly recommend this unit.

The sound is absolute garbage
Update 1 year later: I got this setup originally in late 2023 a couple months before my November baby was born as this was for him. I’m changing my 3 star review to 1 until vtech does something. Vtech has a sepearate customer service page just for their baby monitor systems. I contacted them months ago over the temperature icon suddenly disappearing. No reply. It reappeared eventually though so I never bothered reaching out agaun for it.As of having it for a year now though more issues have popped up and the biggest one being one of the three cords has stopped working. Won’t charge the monitor or turn on the cameras. It’s just. A dead cord now.Second, the monitor hardly retains as much battery life anymore. The battery life for the monitor over time has gone down a lot which has made the cord issue all the bigger because if i need to charge the monitor I’m down one camera.Three. One of the cameras now has rotation issues to the point where it fully stops mid rotation, chugs along funny, and turns at the pace of a snail.I contacted vtech asking HOW i could replace the cord last week at this point. It’s been almost a whole business week with no reply.And I thought I’d add this fun picture since having this system. Vtech claims it can only have 2 cameras. My monitor has glitches a couple times to have this screen and I was lucky on the second time it happened to catch a Pic. Still can only have 2 cams but :(I’m sure there’s enough videos that I don’t need to add my own but this video monitor while great for the price is absolutely crap sound wise. It was right next to a room and could not pick up on one of my kids crying bloody murder when we could hear him across the house. Monitor has issues picking up on sounds next to it altogether. My kid has screamed at the monitor and not only does the sound lag it hardly picks up even at full volume. The other con for this thing is the image quality is super meh. If you wanna see if the kid is sleeping or breathing the image fuzzes so much you can’t even tell if their eyes are closed.The battery quality also is weirdly 50/50 on how long it lasts. We’ll charge it fully and it’ll either last hours near the full time it says or half that. No changed settings.It also does not do good near any sunlight. Ruins the image entirely. We have curtains in the room we have this in and sunlight just icks it. It cannot face the window at all.Some pros to this are its night vision. The night vision is pretty bright and I’m decently impressed with it. The two way talk is nice as well. My kids can definitely hear me through it. Though it is a little bit of a con for them that we can’t hear each other at the same time if they make noise back. And that the camera mutes itself any time it moves.This camera also has no invert features that will allow you to change the image set up of the camera. Like if you turn it upside down on the hanging mount your side images are goofed. So to have the image perfect without goof you will have a blind spot directly down.And to add to the sound being garbage I turned on the music. Super loud on the parent unit. Actually went out to hear it myself and nothing. Barely anything.It is what it is. So overall to sum it up despite its low price for a double came monitor…if ever comes to need to buy a new one or replace…I would not buy this one again for my needs.

The cameras are good, they come with 2 so you can place them in different rooms.The screen is nice and big and you can tilt and move the cameras around if your baby moves around in the crib. The screen and camera use the same type of charging wires which is convenient. I would recommend this camera to anyone with a baby. The distance is also very good and we use it at my parents house, the house is big and we never loose any signals and we always have a good vision on the baby while he is sleeping even when we are in the backyard at night.

Got this monitor as I liked that it had 2 cameras and the option of a split screen to view both rooms. I like that it reads the room temperature and the battery life is long. However, the product box says “high resolution” camera, but the night time mode is extremely blurry/not high res and zoomed in – we have to place the camera at the far end of the room. Because of the poor camera quality, I’ll be returning this and looking for a higher resolution video.

We bought these to travel with so we did not need wifi. The range is decent and the clarity is good. I love how you can rotate/swivel the cameras from the monitor. Only downfall is that there is a green flashing light that is bright. I need to put electrical tape over it so my child will go to sleep. It would be nice if the white noise option was better.

The blinking light on this camera is so bright and it blinks! Itâs so disrupting, I wouldnât be able to sleep with it. Whoever decided to put a blinking light on a baby monitor??! Itâs super annoying at night, Iâm going to have to find something to cover it up. Iâve only had this a few days and everything else seems fine.
