【Slow Feed Haynet】Mesh hay bags can effectively help regulate horse digestion, the design of small hole mesh can reduce the speed of horse eating and help your horse live a healthier life. The hole diameter of our hay bags is 1.1 inches under normal conditions, and the hole diameter after filling with hay is about 1.5 inches, which can meet most people’s horse feeding needs, but the hole diameter depends on the filling type and capacity you choose
【Safe and Sturdy】 The hay feeder is made of terylene, offering a softer texture and greater wear resistance compared to traditional nylon and polypropylene feeders. After undergoing rigorous testing, it has proven to withstand various severe weather conditions, including heavy rain and snow. As a result, the net is designed to last a very long time
【Health Knotless Design】 This horse feed bag features knotless netting, eliminating the concern of dental damage caused by knots. It is the ideal choice for older horses and those with sensitive gums and mouths, ensuring a comfortable and gentle experience for your horse’s lips and muzzle
【Easy To Fill And Hang】 The hay feeder features a large opening, making it easy to fill and thereby saving you time. The hay net is equipped with two handle rings at each end and two support ties in the middle, allowing for easy attachment to stalls, trailers, walls, fences, and more
【Wide Applications】 Slow feed hay net is specially designed for storing hay and feeding horses, which is a good tool for you to use and helps reduce hay loss; At the same time, it can also be applied as a practical gift to family and friends who have horses, goats and other animals

Small holes, perfect for fine hay
Has very small holes, a little bigger than an inch. Perfect for fine hay and alfalfa hay. Am using it inside an upright feeder and can clip it onto the metal bars with carabiners. Really perfect for this application

My horse seems to like this alot better then his old one and I no longer have to worry about my hay nets not getting filled as they are easy to fill.

Good quality hay net, just not wide enough for my purposes
I chose to try this hay net, as I hang hay bags outside for my horses and already have rings hanging up on a cement block retaining wall in their field. I had hoped this would be wide enough and big enough to hold a large quantity of hay. Unfortunately its not quite wide enough, so I will hold on to it and find another use for it. It looks like it would be big enough to hang inside a stall wall, high enough so that the horse doesn’t catch its foot or shoe in it. Seems to be good quality material and woven well. I think the price for 2 is pretty good. I received this when it was for only 1, but was still a good price.

So easy to fill!
I love this thing! I liked it so much that I got a second one just in case something happens to the first. I’ve been using mine for about a month and it is still in good shape, so I haven’t had to pull out the second one yet. It’s so much easier to fill than a traditional drawstring closure haynet, and the squares are small enough that it’s a true slow feed net. It was a little disappointing that the net didn’t come with any way to hang it, but I bought a pack of carabiner clips and easily clipped all 4 corners to my wire fence. It only has loops at the top corners for hanging but I also clipped the bottom two corners through the netting because I felt like it needed a little more security.I will say that I would NOT recommend this net for horned goats even though the listing says it’s good for goats. One of my goats got his horns horribly tangled in this net and my pony attacked him while he was immobilized. Luckily I was home and heard him screaming and got outside to untangle him before the pony could severely injure him. I had to put the net in an area where the goats can’t go. Great for horses, though! And I assume it would work well for non horned goats or sheep. It easily fits a couple of flakes of hay. You could probably fit up to 3 if you really tried, but my pony doesn’t eat that much so the most I’ve ever tried to put is two.

This as been great
Ok, Its a bit of a pain to fill at times, but I love it being versatile enough that I can use it in several ways. I have used it out in pasture when I have a horse or two that need to be fed or otherwise separated from the rest of the herd. I can us it to feed in a stall if I needed to. But I am currently using it in the main hay house to help keep hay loss down and to help slow them down a little. It holds a lot which makes it harder to fill. However, once full it will last at least a few hours depending on how many very hungry horses you have…lolIt does seem to be made overall really well. Items like these don’t normally last a long time before the horses tear them up, but I feel this one will hold up well for at least a season maybe two.
