Best Size for a Syrian Hammy
Well made, excellent quality, safe for full-grown hammies. My Syrian hamster absolutely loves it! Nice & sturdy, well balanced & won’t tip over. My hammy who loves to chew has not tried to bite or chew this wheel. It is absolutely silent, and the wheel is smooth & solid, so it won’t hurt hammy’s feet. It’s also big enough so that it won’t strain an adult hammy’s back.One of the great things about this wheel is that the height can be adjusted to suit the depth of the litter. My ham lives in a 10-gal aquarium, and the height of the wheel adjusted to half-way up is a perfect fit. The (M) medium-size wheel is too tall & wide for a 10-gal tank. The (S) wheel is pretty big overall, so check the measurements against the rest of the items you have in the cage (e.g. water bottle, sand box, food dish). It can also be removed easily & put back in if you want to change things up for your hamster’s enrichment items. Seriously, this is the best wheel I’ve ever purchased. And, it’s also super-easy to clean!

I was a bit skeptical purchasing this item but I absolutely love it! The wheel I previously had for my hedgie made too much noise that kept me up at night! But this one is soo quiet, my hedgie would run all night and I wouldnât hear a thing! Itâs also very sturdy and so easy to clean as well.

pepper loves her new wheel!! it’s nice and sturdy, great quality, and VERY quiet. not a squeak out of this wheel!! all i can hear is the pitter patters of her little feet. it’s gonna be so much easier to fall asleep now ð it doesn’t slide around in her cage and the rotation is very smooth. i got a medium, perfect size for my syrian. highly recommend!!

THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST GOSHDARN WHEEL I HAVE EVER OWNED. it is so, SO quiet and such nice quality. expensive, yeah, but it’s worth it over having to hear a cheaper, noiser wheel for me any day (or night for that matter). i even have 2 of them!!!!! very stable and impossible for my hamster to knock it over like my last one. i just love the little platform too, it helps it stay in place so frickin good. it’s pretty big so it won’t force your hamster to arch its back to run on it. it also just barely fits in my particular cage but that’s just me ð¤·ââï¸ð¤·ââï¸

Actually silent!!
Just buy it, you will not regret! This is the 4th wheel we have tried and I wish I would have just bought it first. Itâs completely silent, looks great in her cage, very sturdy, & our hamster loves it. She can run all night and I can sleep all night. Definitely recommend. 10/10!

Super Quiet, Hammies Love It!
I own two of these wheels now for my chinese dwarf hamster and my roborovski dwarf hamster. I can say with confidence that these are MUCH quieter than any âsilent wheelâ you will find in the pet store. They have a good weight to them, so your hamster wonât knock it against the edge of its enclosure or move the wheel while running. It was very minimal wobble to it, and is very sturdy. I will say, the small size WILL NOT fit in any pet store enclosure, mainly because these cages are way too small for any hamster, and these have some decent height to them, even though it is adjustable. I am able to fit this wheel in both of my hamsters cages, with 6+ inches of bedding. If youâre having issues with your hamster moving the wheel, Iâd recommend getting the wheel platform that Niteangel sells. If you are still hearing a lot of noise from the wheel during the night, it could be your hamster putting pieces of food in the wheel

Our gerbils love it and so do we!
I purchased this wheel for our gerbils after reading tons of reviews and doing quite a bit of research. Gerbils need at least a minimum of an 11 inch wheel so that they do not need to bend their back while running. They also can not have a wheel thatâs just wire because their tails or little feet could get stuck in them. I ended up choosing this wheel because it was the right size, the reviews on how quiet it supposedly was, and the fact that they had multiple colors to choose from. The only thing I was worried about was getting it to connect to our wire cage. I knew it came with a stand but I wanted it mounted to our cage to save some space. With a few additional washers, we were able to easily attach it to the cage. We removed the front cover because it was a hazard for our gerbils tails. I did not want any tails getting accidentally caught on it. Our gerbils love to run on this wheel but also like to go to the bathroom on it. Luckily another positive, is that itâs very easy to clean. I just get a wet paper towel and can wipe it down pretty easily and quickly. I do wipe it down every day, Iâm not sure if it would be harder to clean if you wait numerous days to wipe it down. Overall I would highly recommend this wheel. Itâs versatile and can be used with the stand or attached to a wire cage, itâs super easy to clean, pretty quiet and comes in a variety of colors so that you can customize the look of your cage. Our gerbils love it and so do we!

Mostly silent but does occasionally make noise
The wheel itself looks and feels nice, well made, and sturdy. I got the medium for a dwarf and hamster and it is a good size. I could have probably gotten the small but I felt it was better to play it on the safe side and get a little bit bigger wheel. When I fist gave it to my hamster I was disappointed because the wheel made quite a bit of noise when he ran on it and it was very annoying. I kept messing with it for a few days adjusting the height and tightest and eventually the noise stopped after two days of messing with it. It was silent for the most part but it did start making noise randomly again after about a month but it stopped after adjusting it again. It has since stayed silent but due to having to mess with it multiple times to get it silent I won’t give it five stars but I still really love this wheel and my hamster loves it too.

Yes itâs pricey, you can go to niteangelâs main website to order it cheaper, but they donât ship to me. Ultimately I am so happy with this wheel, it is totally silent, and wide enough for even the chubbiest Syrian. Your hammy will love this wheel, and you wonât have to replace it. This is a one and done purchase that I highly doubt youâll regret. The acrylic is easy to clean and hard to chew, so it will work for gerbils as well. Itâs very sturdy and the adjustable height is perfect to fit any enclosure.
