Much less food waste so cleaner water column
I will admit I had to chuckle at my little guy’s attempts to figure this thing out in the beginning. I think maybe because it is clear, he would try to swim up through it not realizing it was a barrier. After a couple of days he did figure it out however, and now he waits near the cup when it’s feeding time. Anything he misses goes in the cup and he has a second chance at it. So if it’s there for more than 10 minutes I can pull it out and get rid of it without it littering the bottom of the tank or messing up the water parameters. Definitely a good investment!
