Decent overall
The material is very heavy and sturdy, especially the water bowls which is good because they wonât be knocked over. The hide is a little smaller than I expected but still works for a lot of geckos and baby or juvenile snakes. I will say the resin texture can be a little rough and scratchy and makes it difficult to clean so keep that in mind.

The log was perfect for a leopard gecko, smaller than I thought but still good. The bowls donât work though. They are too rough and a bit too tall for a smaller gecko. When she is an adult these will be better fitting. Love the design and colors though.

Not water tight, wish Iâd known
I used these as my frogâs water dishes and filled them every night because I noticed within 12 hours the water would be gone. I thought it would just be splashed out a little and the rest evaporated since we have a heat lamp over the tank. Nope! The water runs right thru these dishes. Last night I realized the substrate we used for the base of the tank is sopping wet. When you push your finger down, water comes up. 2 inches thick of a coconut hull dirt like substance and the whole tank is like that! I canât believe I never noticed it before! So now I have to replace all the base material we had put down and possible the isopods we had that kept the tank clean.DO NOT advertise products that can be used as water dishes if they donât hold water! Simple!

Ok for food not water
Maybe I didnt read the description or recommendations before I bought these. I found these to be ok for holding food, but not water. The water slowly seeps out (maybe it’s not meant for water, I didn’t even read into it). So I ordered a separate bowl for water and continue to out food it in. They are really cool looking.
