Customers say

Customers find the terrarium to be a great cage that looks nice, though assembly instructions are confusing. The build quality receives mixed feedback – while some find it sturdy for reptiles, others report receiving units with broken glass. Assembly and size fit are also mixed aspects, with some finding it easy to put together and the right size, while others report assembly issues and size discrepancies. The terrarium’s waterproofing is problematic, with customers noting that the bottom is not waterproof at all and it leaks water.

Great Terrarium, especially at this price point!
I was nervous about getting this as I saw several people posting that their glass panels were cracked or the wrong size. But once it got here, it was quick and painless to assemble.. but I had one panel that wasn’t fitting properly at first.. upon further inspection, I had placed it in the slot sideways haha. The terrarium itself is tad bit shaky due to the way it is assembled, that being said, you could silicone it and it would be as solid as a rock!Ignore the reviews saying the panels were the wrong size, they just have them turned the wrong way!I will most likely buy another one of these reptizoo enclosures soon!

    Parts not fitting
Putting it together wasn’t hard but the hard part is that the screws aren’t long enough to secure the lid. Two corners will not connect properly, one seems like the screw is stripped already and the other only connects a tiny bit and pops right off with any pull. It also has larger gaps that I was not expecting meaning I now have to silicone the whole tank when I bought this so I wouldn’t have to do that. I bought this solely for green tree frogs and they will get out of those gaps so easily.

    Not the sturdiest thing ever
So far so good. My only problem is I don’t feel like it’s that strong and there’s space between the doors but it does the job

    Good product
Looks really nice and does the job well. Not for small insects without modification; I caulked a screen onto the wire openings.Overall, great product for the right animal! The packaging scared me; the bottom portion is preassembled, but you have to put the panes together to make the upper half.

Great Quality for a Good Price
I got two of these for my boyfriend’s Gargoyle Geckos. They weren’t the easiest to put together, the directions were a little vague. I put one tank together and my boyfriend put the other one together. We both put the tanks together incorrectly on the first try, and both in a slightly different incorrect way. It was obvious they weren’t together correctly because there were gaps in the corners. We were able to learn from each others mistakes and put the tanks together correctly on the second try. Now they are perfect. One of his geckos was an escape artist, no escapes from this tank! The price was also the absolute best I could find for this style of tank. They are heavy and sturdy too. He says he loves them and thanks me all the time for such a quality tank upgrade.

    Exactly what I wanted
So easy to assemble. Definitely pay attention to the stickers on the glass so that you put them where they go. If you do that, you’ll have zero issues.

Mostly Move-In Ready. Can Be Adapted.
Glad to have found a vertical tank in the size I wanted. Just wish it was a little more solidly constructed. Some of the stickers do leave residue on the glass, but a little alcohol took it off.I bought this for my mourning geckos, so I had to adapt a little to make this really escape proof for their size. If you have an anole, or a crested gecko, you should be safe to just leave it as is.1- I fully put the tank together to asses where gaps were. (The doors overlapped weird until I added the side glass. I had to turn some of the side panels to fit correctly. So don’t panic if they look weird at first, the positioning of the sticker labels made it seem as though they should’ve been put in one way, which wasn’t right.)2- I took off the doors/lid and applied silicone to the slots that hold the back/side glass panels, (just because I don’t plan on taking it apart or storing flat), and while the doors were off, I applied silicone to the flat piece that sticks off the tube. I let that cure completely while the door was off so it wouldn’t glue itself to the side glass. There was enough of a gap between the door and side that it feels necessary.3- I don’t need to pull the screen off and on, so I locked it in and applied silicone all the way around the screen where there’s a little wiggle room for it to go back and forth. The actual top frame that the screen sets into doesn’t need sealant.4- I don’t need or want the hole in the side for wiring. So I completely filled the exterior holes and gaps with silicone, then filled the interior side with silicone as well, and covered it with a small terracotta disk just to make it look a little nicer. I clamped it until it cured, and it completely covers all the sealant.
