Customers say
Customers find the multivitamin to be of good quality and value for money, with positive feedback about its health benefits, including immune system support and regularity. The product comes in well-rounded, cute shapes, and is free from synthetic colors and preservatives. While some customers enjoy the great flavors, others find them taste awful, and one customer notes the pills are hard as a rock.

Recommended by my pediatric dentist
During my toddler’s dental checkup, the dentist recommended these Vitamins. I had been giving the gummy type ones until then, and the dentist told me that these are better for the teeth. My 4 year old toddler didn’t have any problems with the taste or smell. She thinks of it as a treat and actually loves them. She likes the animal shapes too. My almost 2 year old begs for them but it says it’s for kids from 2 years old so I’m waiting until he turns 2 to give him some.Looking at the ingredients, I think it has high quality (no dyes!!) and has the extra nutrients she needs. Just be careful of overdose and out of reach of children because it has iron (which I wanted it to have included because it’s so hard to include iron in my kids’ diet during their picky eating phase).

We like them
My kids are building back up on nutrition after it taking a long time to confirm underlying Celiac’s Disease(ugh, Doctors hardly listen, but at least they finally have an official diagnosis and I am no longer considered just a crazy hypochondriac mom). So far, my kids are craving these and love them, and have been taking them daily for about a month so far. It’ll likely take months before I really see a difference with these though(better immune system resistance against bugs going around, disappearance of dark circles and easy bruising from not absorbing nutrients from food due to the damage done by the Celiac’s which takes quite some time to fully heal). I’m happy that they’re pretty well rounded and contain probiotics, vitamins, and minerals minus the dyes and stuff my kiddos can’t have. Amazon does have them priced considerably better than the local health food store, too(half the price).Tip: In my experience over the years with vitamins and mineral supplements, if you or your kiddos have issues with the taste, chances are it contains something your body doesn’t need/want and you should look for one with less stuff in it or a different form of which ever you suspect your body doesn’t like. In my own supplementation I have to avoid vitamins with B2, my body just finds supplements with B2 highly repulsive and does purge them once they begin to dissolve in my gut and it ain’t pretty. When my iron is in range(run low mostly, but have periods where it’s fine), I find supplements containing iron taste metallic in a bad way.

Kids Ask for Them!
My boys love the vitamins and always remind me to get them for them if I forget. I do feel like it has boosted their immunity. We used the non-gold version in the past, and I believe these are keeping them healthier! I like that they are free from synthetic colors and preservatives. And have veggies packed inside- something I struggle to get my kids to eat!!

They have the methylated folate
Some of the Nature Animal Parade multivitamins have just folic acid in them. These, the plus gold, have methylated folate in them instead. The flavor isn’t bad, my kids will eat them without me having to bribe them.

Good value
Vitamins came well packaged and sealed. I like the quality and the value. However, my son did not like the taste at all! I tried one for myself and there the typical chewable. A bit chalky and bitter. Overall, id say try it if your child likes the chewables. Giving it a 5 star for quality & price.

My picky 3 year old and I both LOVE these things!!! DELICIOUS!
My son is on the autism spectrum, he will be 3 in 2 weeks. I wanted a chewable, NOT GUMMY… vitamin for him that did not contain all the crappy harmful dyes (yellow 5, 6, red 40, blue 1, fd&c, etc… as well as not having sodium bezonate) as there are proven links to these items and autism behaviors.I chose these after my son pretty much gagged and was disgusted by the Alive vitamins.**I ordered the multi flavor, and received Cherry. I dont mind because he likes them, but just be aware thats what happened. **He loves them… he takes 2 a day, but i split it up. 1 when he wakes up and 1 with lunch. He also takes a probiotic Nature’s Way – Primadophilus For Kids/Cherry, 68 mg, 30 chewable tabletsonce a day, in the morning with his vitamin and those work amazing for his poop issues too!!I chose these vitamins because they were chewable, did not contain anything harmful, AND contain iron. YES THESE HAVE IRON! i need iron for him, becuase like me, he is boderline anemic. He has dark circles under his eyes and also has the pale skin too.He just started to take these vitamins, so i cannot comment on anything else, but i will come back and update!!The other reviewer who gave it bad reviews because these are not gummy is silly. It says CHEWABLE in the description. My son has no problems chewing these. Dont let that 1 dumb review deter you.Try these, you will not be disappointed!!!

My daughter almost puked after I gave her one
My daughter made a face and started to do that gag face before you puke. I can’t find a gummy or chew she will eat. She has extreme food aversions and needs vitamins because she eats like 5 things. I’ve had no problems with the flinstone vitamins but the dr told me to cut out food dyes so I was trying to find something better for her. Looks like the hunt continues yet again. I made my husband try one and he said it tastes fine.Update: I went back to giving my daughter the flinstone vitamins but we were having issues at school with her not listening to the teacher and misbehaving. I cut out the flinstones and tried swapping these animal parade vitamins without her noticing. She ate it just fine and even said yummy. So I guess she just had to grow up a bit to try them again. So I’m going to order more. It also helps that I cut out all junk food and sweets so getting a vitamin is a treat for her in the morning. She’s been off all dyes and her behavior issues have disappeared. I always thought the dye thing was just a myth or something but I really see a difference. I also noticed her eggo waffles contained yellow dyes and the nesquick chocolate syrup did to. Which she was having almost every morning. Also not sure if it’s the dyes or that I cut out processed junk from her diet. Maybe all of the above.

My son didn’t like the taste at all. He spitted it the first time and never tried again. I am using it just to justify the price. I am sure it’s a good supplement but weird taste really.Edit a year later:My son hated the taste of it when we first tried and I left a review about it. Then 3 months later I tried again and he loved it. He has been taking them for more than a year now and he is not getting sick as much anymore. It can be him growing immunity but I am pretty sure they help, especially with the probiotics in it.

Theyâre were ok, my little one kept complaining that they get stuck in her teeth as they dissolve into a paste like texture.. went on to the gummyâs after these.

Our daughter found the vitamins too crunchy and sweet, and didn’t enjoy all the flavours. I also didn’t realise when I ordered that the child needs to take two a day, so I won’t be buying these again.

But unfortunately my 3 years old does not like the taste
Caren L. Pickering-Hope –
I used to buy these for my now, 27-year-old daughter when she was little; she loved them. Back then, they had all the same quantity of vitamins as they do now, and they were pleasant tasting — they also looked like sweets which is just what you want when you’re trying to entice little ones into taking their vits. However, I more recently bought these for my granddaughter, and not only do they look unappealing (dicoloured with brown speckles), but they smell too much like vits and taste even worse. Clearly, the recipe has either changed or the company’s vitamin supplier has been changed. (Some might argue that they’re vitamins and so one shouldn’t expect them to taste NOT LIKE vitamins, but they had it right twenty-some years back, so how come they’re so unpleasant, now?) I wasted my money as my grandchildren won’t touch them, and so I wouldn’t chance buying them again.
