Tiniest Mealworms Ever
These are definitely not large sized mealworms like the description says. They are tiny. I would say between 1/2 inch -3/4 inch in length. I have been fishing with mealworms for 30 years and have never seen a mealworm this small.

Great value + quality worms!
I got these for my adult bearded dragon. They arrived in a little burlap sort of bag, with twine tied around the top to close it, and plain white printer paper folded up inside to offer some structure inside the bag, as to not squish the worms. The worms were small, which I think people get confused about but these were indeed giant mealworms. I believe people expect them to be the size of superworms, so when these little worms arrive, it seems like something is wrong, but nope– the ones I I were the correct size! They were all alive when I received them. Packaged well, in a small square box, with a “Fragile / Handle with care” type of note on it. I believe there were some holes punched into one side of the box.I had been expecting a little plastic cup, like in the photo, however to be fair, I didn’t read the description so I’m unsure if they provide a disclaimer about the packaging. No big deal though, because I prefer to use less plastic if its not necesssry, and transferring them to a Tupperware container for storage was simple enough.Buying them here was much cheaper than at chain stores like PetCo, etc, where 25-50 giant mealworms will cost you $5-6 where I live. And half the time, they either don’t have them or many of them are already dead. If it matters to you, I recommend that if you ever have to grab one of those types, save the containers or at least the substrate inside to use for when you receive worms online that come in a bag like these did.Other than that, my girl loved them!As always, dust them with calcium powder prior to feeding.I was very happy with this purchase 🙂

Quality beats your local pet store by far
I much prefer buying these online than getting them at my local pet shop. I get much more for the amount of money they cost and they live a lot longer than my local ones. They are also a good size and my lizard loves them.

This is my second order of these
This is the second time in a row I have received dead worms. Out of the container I was able to salvage 7 live worms.. the rest were dead. I have ordered them before and as expected, some were dead. Maybe 20 give or take. Which again, I expect. And is completely fine. But the last two times this is what I received. I thought the first time maybe they got left in the mailbox too long in the heat. But this time, I went and got them as soon as they were delivered. I hope my next batch will be like the ones before. Which is why I gave 3 stars.

The Best Mealworms on Amazon 100%
Update 3/20/22 after multiple orders:Still legit. Still 99% alive. They donât even go bonkers for fruit and veggies right away which tells me theyâre on the verge of death or theyâre already pretty satiated. Theyâre moving like crazy though so I think itâs the latter. This is via Amazon too dude.. where they are in who knows what temps then sitting on my porch for a couple hours. These guys deserve an award. Iâll be sure to update if something catastrophic happens. The only con⦠inconsistent packaging. The latest weâre in a shoddy taped up plastic container and the substrate looked nothing like the last ones. Could be different grow houses? Maybe itâs the size difference? Idk. Due to the container a bunch got out into the box.P.S. lol @ the review where the chick was pissed they didnât include instructions.I have ordered mealworms from five different vendors over the last several months and these guys consistently have healthier mealies than any other vendor. You might have a handful of dead worms in a batch of 500. Itâs actually pretty flipping amazing. These guys also consistently proceed into regular mealworm life cycles more consistently and reliably than other vendors I have procured from. Predator is literally the only place I am getting worms until proven otherwise.Other vendors require constant pruning and plucking of blacked and shriveled worms. Itâs bad. Out of 500 worms, other vendors sometimes ship upwards of 25% dead ones and then you could lose another 100 over the next week or two. Not these guys. Predator worms are next level.

Great purchase.
I bought the 500 count for our two adorable leopard geckos l. As soon as they came in I went through them. I did not counted them but I did check for some dead ones as I expected some due to handling and such, but I was very pleased to find out all of them were alive and appear very healthy. I expected them to come with bedding, but they did not, but thatâs ok as their price is lower than other sellers. So I blended some oatmeal for their bedding as I take them out of the fridge and strained them to feed them every other week in a different container. Definitely Will buy again from this seller.
