Have used Heiro for going on 2 years. My IR mare has completely recovered from laminitis and we have had no setbacks. She looks shiny and wonderful. Our mini foundered a few weeks ago and he is now also on it. Totally impressed with the product. Two of my horses can never be in a grassy field. They canât handle the sugars. Amazing product that works!
This changed my horses life. He was hairy, fat, footsore. On meds and remission. I started him on this on the recommended 10 day dose and I can happily say about 5 days in the foot soreness went away! His coat has gotten shiny and slick and he has lost weight! I have been using this on my IR horse who foundered several years ago. I think it has really helped. She does not like the taste or that its a powder. I have to mix it with a handful of Senior grain with beet pulp and a little water to get her to eat it. I wish it came in a pellet.

I canât believe the difference Heidi has made for my donkeys. We were having terrible problems with their feet. So many problems!! One of them hurt so bad she didnât leave her stall for two weeks. BEWARE of Possible Serious Allergic Reaction
This was recommended by my hoof trimmer who has had good luck with it for his horses. It’s got numerous different herbals in it. My OTTB mare, however, had a serious allergic skin reaction on even a short one week, less than directed, dose; hives, then dandruff and skin flaking, and finally patchy neck and shoulder hair loss. Dr. Reilly said he had never heard of any problems and I couldn’t find anything similar in any other online reviews but it’s clearly linked to something in the product. So if you try it and your horse starts to develop any symptoms, discontinue immediately. She continues to lose hair even weeks after stopping the product. I’m just lucky it wasn’t a respiratory reaction. I note, too, that it’s not NASC certified.

Shetland pony prone to founder and laminitis, could not go on grass start of spring or he was in so much pain he couldn’t walk. I am unable to keep him in a dirt pen for the rest of his life so I needed to find a solution so he could feel better and be used by my kids. Started feeding product as instructed and kept him in corral pen till initial 10 days were up then let out on pasture with other horses. Pony is galloping everywhere and loves the product, he comes trotting to fence to get his dose everyday. So happy that he is pain free and kids are riding everywhere on him. Worth the money.
