Get one they work
I was very skeptical about these. I now have 3 surrounding our cat box. They are great while they did not completely eliminate litter being tracked around the house. They cut it to a very small amount. Was having to vacuum everyday some time twice a day. Now once a week. The only issue I have is that they are folded in the packaging and it takes a long time for them to lay flat. Ours are over a month old and they still show the packing fold marks.

Worth the money in keeping things clean and tidy.
I admit that I was caught off guard on the price since my significant other had ordered the mat on my behalf. However, the mats have already proven that they are worth every penny.The mat catches stray litter effectively and it is easy to pour it back into the litter box. The mat has also has protected the flooring from several accidents outside of the litter box too. It is easy to wash, dry, and put back under the litter box and I wholly recommend the product.

Iâm really impressed with this honeycomb litter mat. Itâs simple but incredibly effective at catching litter thatâs stuck to my catâs paws. The unique honeycomb design helps trap most of the litter as my cat exits the box, which means less tracking around the house. The material is durable, and cleaning is a breezeâjust shake it out or vacuum it, and itâs good to go. These mats catch the litter much more because it gets trapped before it can scoot across the floor. I bought one in store, also wrapped. I put some heavy things to help flatten it but that’s the point, litter getting trapped before it slides across. If any small “wave” is between them and their exit it’s caught instead of bouncing.Once the litter box is on top it lays flatter. The lip makes it easier to grab, slide the box, and align.After finding this brand here I bought 3 more (1 size the smallest, kept as runway). I would even go up a size to minimize litter around the mat but I don’t have enough room. I also bought this brands low-profile feeding mat then their shelf liner. Glad I found them.

Interesting concept, not so great in practical execution.
Hmm, I think the concept is good, but the execution is less. The mat comes folded, and to use it, you’d want it to be flat on the ground. The folds take a long time to reduce: as you can see in the image the mat still has creases, which make it uncomfortable for the cats to walk over. These photos were taken three weeks after receiving it, and I first put it under the mattress to get the creases out. So not great.That said, it does work well in capturing our cats’ sand / dust after using their cat box. In the second picture you’ll be able to see the grounds from the cat sand through the holes of the mat.In order to clean it, you can pour out the sand, but if it got wet it gets stuck in the mat. Then some more vigorous cleaning (outside with the hose) is required. So not as easy.It also takes up a lot of space, it’s quite large and covers a big part of the bathroom floor where we keep our litter box. I’m still half and half with this mat. It’ll do until have a better replacement.

Canât get to lie flat
I really like how these mats trap litter and are so easy to dump back into the box. However, I decided to purchase 2 of the largest mats for our litter boxes. They arrived folded in 4ths about a week ago, and I still cannot get them to lie flat! The bends make the corners a tripping hazard, so they are literally in a back room with a fold up table on them to weigh them down and hopefully flatten out. As they are currently, I cannot safely use them.

recommend for anyone who has a litter box
I assumed it would be a more rubber type material but it seems like a more soft foam kind which I didn’t really like. other than that it’s worked exactly for what I needed, collects the litter left on my cats paws instead of it just sitting surface level and tracking everywhere. I have the litter box on top of it so for a quick little clean up instead of fully picking it up everytime I just use the vacuum tube to spot vacuum the litter. my cat always uses his litter box and doesn’t have accidents so I don’t know what the waterproof-ness is. overall exactly what I needed.

It’s smaller than I thought it’d be which is my bad but it’s also very hard to get flat. It also seems unevenly sewn. I picked this for the name brand but it kinda seems as good as an Amazon brand one. I’ve got heavy weights on it over night. Will update if that’s gets it flat finally.Update:It’s still not flat after having a computer monitor box on top of it overnight. So now I’ve put the heaviest books I own on top of it to try again for another 24 hours.There is also a clear problem with the manufacturing of this. The top is much larger than the bottom so it doesn’t lay flat. Also the problem with this is the honeycomb is longer than the bottom so if the cats step in that area it’s just trapping it on the floor which defeats the whole purpose of this thing. I will most likely be returning it if it doesn’t flatten out by tomorrow.
