I am very disappointed with the nanshiba 2K Nanny Cam. The video quality was far from 2K, appearing grainy and unclear. The night vision barely worked, making it useless in low light. Motion detection was unreliable, missing important events. Additionally, the DIY cover was flimsy and didn’t stay in place. Overall, this camera failed to provide adequate security and wasn’t worth the investment.

Very well made and functional surveillance cam
There’s no shortage of indoor surveillance cams on the market. This is one of the better ones I’ve come across. It’s nominally intended to be used as a ‘Nanny Cam’–making sure that your nanny or babysitter isn’t mistreating the kids, stealing from your liquor cabinet or otherwise misbehaving. My wife and I use it for a less serious purpose to check up on what our pets are doing while we’re away from home.The video quality isn’t exactly cutting edge, but more than adequate. It has PTZ functionality with a 360 degree horizontal range. You can use your home wi-fi connection (2.4G only unfortunately) to control the camera, stream videos, download footage and generally oversee what is going on at home. It has a big battery–the product description claims a 200 day standby and while we haven’t tested that out it definitely holds a charge.Generally speaking, the AI event detection in lower end security cameras leaves a lot to be desired. This one is pretty good–it’s supposed to only detect ‘humanoids’ (presumably meaning that you’ll get a heads up if a zombie enters your house) and in my testing it never mistook a cat or dog for a ‘humanoid’.Overall, this is a solid cam for basic surveillance needs. The form factor isn’t exactly discreet so if that’s an issue this might not be the right choice. For everything else, this camera will do the job and at a very reasonable price point. Recommended!

Works well in my garage
It was a bit tricky to set up the software but on the second try I got it working. Iâm now able to see if anyone enters my garage work area. The pictures are sharp enough to easily recognize anyone you see and Iâm now happy I have a record of coming and goings in my work area.

Easy to Use
This nanny cam has some nice features. It allows you to pan, tilt and zoom, so you can look all around the room if you want to. It is rechargeable, so you can set it up just about anywhere in the house, you just need to remember to charge it periodically. It uses WIFI, so you can check on things from anywhere as long as you have service, but you will need to make sure you have a 2.4G line through you internet provider. Itâs not the best security camera I have ever seen, but it works, has a decent picture and a few features that many other indoor cameras do not have.

This is the perfect spy camera to have in your home for watching over your kids, pets or the elderly. We are using it for our 98-year-old father who needs help getting around. We can easily check up on him with this camera! I love that it is a PTZ, pan, tilt, zoom camera so you can really hone in on the action! I would highly recommend this camera!
