Very nice mat in size and quality, at a great price. It has many possible uses in a bird cage, and my plan is to tie items to it for a foraging wall. I can choose the items my budgie is attracted to and also change them out over time to keep things interesting. I figure that if the wall doesn’t hold his interest, I can suspend it as a platform. I’m still getting to know my bird and don’t want to break the bank on toys when these birds can have very individual likes and dislikes!

Great for green cheek conures.
I have one green cheek conure that particularly loves seagrass material toys. I have to buy one about every few months to replace the old one, cause he loves to tear these mats up. In buying these for a few years, they are safe and I have no concern with giving my green cheeks these mats to chew and tear up.

My parrot LOVES to slide down the vertical bars on the back panel of her cage. So much so that she was getting blisters on her feet! My vet recommended covering the bars, so I thought Iâd try this! Not only do two mats perfectly cover the back of her cage, but it gives her something else to chew / destroy! Has held up well against her chewing and does exactly what I need it to do!
