Malaysian Trumpet Snails make a great addition to any aquarium! These small burrowing snails will help prevent the buildup of toxic gas bubbles in your aquarium’s substrate. They will eat any food your fish leave behind and help to keep all surfaces, including live plants, free of algae. They do not eat live plants unless starving. These snails can thrive in tanks as small as a gallon and can look wonderful in desk or countertop aquascapes. In addition to making great tiny pets, Malaysian Trumpet Snails are a nutritious feeder snail for small Pufferfish.

They are pleased with the price, though opinions about their size are mixed, with some finding them larger than expected while others say they’re really tiny. While some customers received snails that were dead upon arrival, one customer mentions they took well to their new environment.

    Great snails
All arrived alive, the littlest 2 did not make it after 2 weeks but the rest are growing big and making this tank home.

Hungry pea puffers. And no snails.
Ordered March 30th. It’s April 7th. Still nothing. No updates. I know its food for my fish. But I want healthy clean food. Not 9 day old, out of water and placed in a usps bubble bag meal. Thanks but no thank you.

    Lengthy delivery but all survived!
Ordering a live product off of Amazon for the first time was kind of nerve-wracking. About a day after I placed the ordered it said that it had shipped the snails I ordered. The estimated delivery date was about a month away though and I don’t know if the snails actually spent a month in transit or they were shipped just a few days before the estimated delivery date. Could help to maybe clear up how shipping works, but after immediately retrieving my snails from the mailbox They acclimated well and now almost a week later they are very active alive and well. I also received one extra snail which survived too!

    So far so good!
I opened the package within 10 minutes of delivery. Followed the instructions to put them in a shallow container with water from the aquarium. So far 11 are moving around already! I’m super excited! Fingers crossed!

They come with Ick, definitely quarantine.
They came with Ick. Like, okay I should have quarantined them first but I don’t have a quarantine tank. Now my goldies are acting sick, my guppies are pineconing, and my gourami are being really weird. So on the plus side my detritus is being taken care of (yay!) and all of my snails showed up alive and well (also yay!). The snails are all adults and seem to be healthy. But the Ick is really worrying me. I’m extremely proud of my goldies and there’s a flipping quarantine on so I can’t personally shop for the right treatments or pick up anything to offset said treatments, or pester my local boutique pet store for their insights. It’s very upsetting.4 stars, because the product itself is exactly what I ordered. Docked one for the infection. Sadness.Update: I fixed the Ick problem, and the snails are doing really well. I’ve even moved some of the offspring to my other tanks! They do n excellent job of finishing off whatever my fish don’t eat, and even pick at whatever algae is left after the plecos and grazers are done. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

    Perfectly packed and delivered alive!
Received my order and despite some less-than delicate handling from USPS (box was caved in on one end! 😬 No fault of the seller, BTW) happy to say that almost every snail perked right up when added to their quarantine tank! (A little food enticement never hurts. 😝) I received many more than I ordered, and a bonus nerite snail to boot, so my tanks will have a robust cleaning crew when I move them over out of quarantice next week. Kudos to the seller for including good recommendations about quarantining and acclimation in the box. Better safe than sorry!

    All snails arrived dead.
All the snails I received were dead. I was told that they were alive and to just wait…it has been over a week and not one snail has moved or shown any sign of life.

    Exceptional!
I’ve purchased Trumpet snails from this company several times. Every snail has arrived perfectly healthy and taken to my aquariums very well. These snails not only cohabitate even with my aggressive fresh water fish, but they’re also breeding and helping to keep the aquariums clean.
