Not your ordinary paracord bracelet
These survival bracelets are aptly named. I am not sure what else they could have tried to squeeze in. Besides the basic small compass, ferro ceramic rod and striker, whistle and of course, paracord. It also has a small knife (sharpened edge of striker), and a small multi tool.Whistle worked great. LED emergency light worked well. Compass was not spot on but was close. Fire striker needs to have coating taken off of it before striking. I had trouble getting the multitool out (it is in there securely), until I watched the video and noticed they used the striker to get the multitool out. The quality control on sealing the end of the bracelet when done weaving could be improved (see nice white tip on outside pic). The only odd thing was when adjusted for smaller wrists there is a loop hanging down from the adjuster which could catch on things if you are not careful. However, being adjustable is a bonus. Multiple colors and 7-strand cord. Two of these for $15 is a good deal.

Useful if you were stuck or lost in the woods
This product has the potential to be VERY useful clipped onto a backpack or worn on the wrist while hiking, camping, or other remote activities. According to the diagram on the back of the package, you get a compass, emergency LED light”(small flashlight or emergency SOS flashing), whistle, firestarter, cording to unravel the macrame and use in a pinch, and something intriguingly called a “tool card” (that I had trouble removing even with the other tiny tool included). The biggest negative is that the compass can be off and changes its mind about the direction if you shake the thing around a bit and then settle it back down (see the side-by-side photo). The instructions are very sparse (what’s in the photo is all you get). However, the Amazon listing has some helpful diagrams. Obviously everything is very tiny and cumbersome to actually use, but if you were stranded I think I’d rather have this little thing with me than not. Recommend as long as you plan to familiarize yourself with the photos in the listing before hitting the woods!

I wanted to like these, but…
These survival bracelets try to do it all, but I’m disappointed to say they donât do much of it well at all. The compasses are useless. One points north, the other south, and neither matches a calibrated compass. The whistle is too weak to be reliable past a hundred yards or so. The multitool is tiny, awkward, and barely functional. Despite my best efforts, and even using a proper striker, I was unable to get a decent spark out of the flint. The SOS LED light works, but itâs nothing special as its either on solid, or flashing. The best value here is the paracord, which is always handy, but for the price, you can get a much better survival tool elsewhere. Save your cash.

Good for casual hiking
The best thing about this item is the whistle. It is shrill and loud- perfect if you get lost. The other items are fun, but the fire starter is very small and hard to use.

Kids love them and feel like they contribute to the directions
Just took these camping and were teaching kids directions. the small convenient compass on the wrist is great.it also has a whistle and a small cutting tool.Nice colors. my son loves the orange. the SOS/light tool also will come in handy as an emergency light.Good job. nice product.
