GREAT PRICE, EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY, NO RELEASE!
These are the most inexpensive cross ties we could find, yet the quality is very very good. I was pleasantly surprised about Matt. They are sturdy well-made and look very elegant. I quit six crosstie areas with these and was so happy with the compliments I got. As a stable owner it was a great investment to provide our clients with quality cross ties at an inexpensive price. Unfortunately we’ve had a couple of horses bust out of these cross ties. And they held up and did NOT do the job of releasing the horse. I recommend put these up with bailing twine between the tie and the eye hook so the bailing twine breaks. On one such instance a very nasty person decided it would be funny to shoot a 1200 pound horse in the backside with a high-powered BB gun. The horse went up in the air, the cross ties broke my eye hooks and released the horse and although he fell to the ground thankfully he did not hurt himself or break his neck! Which is exactly what I wanted to do to the person! Most people know that using cross ties can be very dangerous. The most important thing when selecting your cross ties is to know that they will release under pressure so that the horse will not get hurt. These have done a remarkable job of NOT releasing. I think most cross ties use the same metal release products. They all need to solve this problem. In the second instance, someone delivered a horse and wanted to unload six other horses in order to clean his trailer out from a long haul. One of his horses was exceptionally feisty and bust out of the cross ties a couple of times. Again I was very frustrated with this product because the horse was only able to get released by busting my eye hooks again thankfully without hurting himself.Today another horse got spooked by a falling limb and broke the actual nylon tie! This time she twisted her leg. So ramping up the eye hooks caused a bigger problem. Now I’m using bailing twine!!I recommend this product based on the price, the exceptional quality but the functionality of releasing is not there. Use with bailing twine ONLY. MOST CRISS TIES WILL BE THE EXACT SAME THING UNLESS THEIR RELEASE ENDS ARE FROM DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS.

I bought this for my barn cross ties and theyâve held up great! Even when the horses are tugging on them a good amount theyâve held up havenât broke yet and had them up for almost 2 months now! Great buy! I bought the blue ones they are nice and brought very pretty!

Nice, long cross ties
I was happy to find some longer cross ties, as I have a 12 ft alley in my barn and a small pony. These match my barn and work like theyâre supposed to. Theyâre also sturdy, and the snaps work well.

These cross ties are sold as one.
Heavy duty, but only one. Ugh. I should have read the reviews.

Deceiving picture and title
Very misleading Item is sold as one, yet shows two in picture and tile says crossties.Update- Used for 2 weeks and now on one clasp has broken.

Is not a cross tie set
Very sturdy and heavy duty product. However the picture and description is misleading. This is not a crosstie set (you need 2 to make a crosstie) as there is only one that comes in the package. Would not have paid this price if I would have known it was only one.
Kindle Customer Darlene –
Work great.
Good quality and easy to use. Love that they are adjustable to fit multiple aisles
Amazon Customer –
You need to buy two. They are not sold as a set.
These are very nice cross ties. Unfortunately they have replaced the snaps that they had with both snaps that are ordered to work. The old snaps were modified from his nap which was very sturdy and which was extremely easy to get on the horsesâ halters.
