Protective vest made of stretch fabric for a comfortable fit. Its material is fine and soft to prevent chafing. It can be used for a variety of purposes on any horse, including to help with the healing of wounds.

High Quality, Stays in Place
This is stretchy, spandex type material that is easy to put on and STAYS in place. I bought this for my horse who got a wound on his chest. The flies wouldn’t leave it alone and my horse lays on that side of his body, so the wound would be filthy every morning and got infected. My horse has had this on for over two months and it is still just as good as the first day and stays in place. I have two and have washed and rotated them. This is an amazing and wonderful product. My horse is in a larger stall, has plenty of movement, and I’m sure has rolled while wearing this. The wound is almost completely healed.

Love this product!! Well constructed (looks FANCY) ; easy to put on; belly band keeps it in place!! Even with a Standie that rolls in mud puddles!! LOL! Well worth the investment!! Would definitely buy another!!

Fits differently than other brands Iâve had
Seems to be durable and does the job. I feel like the chest part is pretty big – a medium is pretty saggy on my TB but it still protects his problematic spots and stays in place.

Love the design
I really like how the velcro is on the side and not around the barrel. With my Sleazy brand shoulder protector, the velcro gets dirty quickly and stops sticking together. With this brand, the blanket protects the velcro so it stays cleaner longer, and it stays on better!

So far so good.
Heavy material. This has stayed in place. I have a retired Standardbred that is 15.2 hands with a broad chest. Wears 72 blanket in Weatherbeeter (which runs large). I ordered the cob size and it fits well. I was skeptical since this doesn’t have the piece that goes between the horses legs, but there hasn’t been any slippage yet. My horse is blind so he doesn’t run or play. So not sure I am not sure if there would be any slippage then. UPDATE: my horse has worn this for a couple of weeks now. Still REALLY like this product!! I recommend this product.

Great product but inconsistent sizing
Bought one of these for my hard to fit draft cross, was very pleased at how well it fit and stayed in place. Purchased a second one of the same size about a month later because this horse is so hard to fit and I wanted a spare.It pretty quickly gave my horse a horrible rub over the withers and I later realized the neck opening was a few inches smaller in circumference. The belly strap was tighter on the second one as well.. Not sure if the sizing is inconsistent in general or different between colors. 3 stars because it’s a great quality product if it fits, however, be cautious as you might not get the exact same size every single time.

Lightweight vest
I bought this to cover a wound on my thoroughbred and it worked great! Itâs stretchy, lightweight, easy to put in and, most importantly, it stay in place with the Velcro closure.

Really like this product. Fits really nicely and feels great. Got a size Cob for my 15.2 youngster and it fits well. Will say she’s still developing in the chest so might have been a bit tight if she was older. Product doesn’t slip under stable or outside rug. Would buy again in the future.
