Excellent, durable kit
This is the best grooming kit and a great deal. It’s easy to hold for my daughter and easy to keep in my truck. It has held up to months of being tossed around and still looks great. The zipper is strong and there is everything included that you need for grooming.

Cute but not high quality
This would be a fun gift for someone just starting with horses. It has all the basics. Hood pick, slicker, curry comb, brushes, ect all in a small little bag. The items are not of high quality mainly the brushes the one normal size brush is the worst of everything. The tiny soft brush is fine for small kids hands but really too small to do much on a horse or pony. Think this is a bit over priced at $46 would think about half that would be appropriate

This is handy!
This is a handy little kit, easy to grab and go, and so cute since it’s all color coordinated. I love that the hoof pick is the kind with the brush on it, instead of just a simple pick, and it seems plenty sturdy. I don;t think it will bend with normal use. The dandy brush and face brush are soft bristled. While I generally like a more aggressive curry, this one will be fine for anything that’s not too caked on. Our Anatolians and Great Pyrenees love the mane and tail brush. It is stiff enough to get down through their heavy undercoat and give them a good scratching. Works great on manes and tails too, but it’s nice that it doubles as a dog brush. The comb seems to be heavy enough, although I haven’t tried it yet, and the sweat scraper has a rubber side and a toothed side so could double as a light shedding blade. The sponge is cute, but not the most practical.Everything fits in the nylon zippered tote with room to spare. There is regular handles on the tote, as well as a removable shoulder strap which is nice for leaving your hands free to lead the horse and carry anything else you need to take to your grooming area. The tote is not a super heavy nylon, but seems sufficient and the stitching is good. I like the extra elastic band that goes around the outside to keep your bottles and taller items from tipping out of the outer pockets. It’s a well thought out design and I’m happy with it. Recommend to anyone looking for a nice color coordinated kit with most of the essentials for day to day grooming.

Good starter kit!
HackFond Horse Grooming Kit: Overall a good basic kit for a child or adult new to horses.What I liked:1. Rubber curry brush is soft and flexible; great for moving around curves and boney prominences.2. Pin tail and mane comb great for tangles. Ends are rounded and gentle on skin and hair.3. The tail comb works great if the tail is already combed out using the pin comb. Nice for touch ups. Teeth are rounded, long, and flexible. Not for major tangles.4. The bag: has rubberized liner to keep contents dry. The outside pockets are also lined to contain any spills or drips. There is a stretchy cord around the outside top of the bag to help secure contents of the outside pockets (see photo, products not included with kit). Optional hand carry or detachable shoulder or hanging strap. Zipper top to secure contents. Sits on four short legs so it does not sit directly on the ground.5. Small face brush with fairly soft bristles. Body brush has long bristles and while not as soft as the face brush, it is softer than many nylon brushes I have felt. I could rub it across my skin on my arm comfortably. Personally, I prefer natural bristles but nylon, if soft, is good for beginners as it is easy to clean.6. Hook lick has both a pick and a stiff brush for cleaning hooves.7. I didn’t think the horse shaped sponge would work, but it actually was easy to hang on to and still provide surface area for sponging off a horse.8. Portable and sized for any age.What I didn’t like:1. The sweat scrapper is the weakest link. The handle bolts on but has some flex to it, structurally feels weak and easy to break. The ridged edge is sharp and in the wrong hands would be uncomfortable against a horse’s skin. I would not use it on my horses. The rubberized side is soft and pulls water off as it should. If I was giving this to a child or new horse person, I would substitute this scrapper (or dull down the ridged edge).2. The brushes had a couple of areas where pressure from items packed on top of them flatten the bristles. They have rebounded with hand pressure and repacking so other items are not laying on them. Just noted this incase you are giving this as a gift; may want to check them and repack the bag so they are not under pressure.Over all a good beginner’s kit.

I received this horse grooming set through the Amazon Vine Voice program.This is a wonderful idea for any horse owner! The kit has a durable bag and all of the grooming tools are useful. Everything from brushing to washing and using a squeegee for removing excess moisture, it’s all there. Also, the bag is practical with outer pouches to add more items to this kit or have as an option to place dirty brushes and combs away from the inner bag. This would make a good gift for the holidays, too. I’m happy with this set!!ðð

Perfect all in one horse grooming kit. Comes with everything you need to perform light grooming and washing. The vinyl bag is fairly sturdy and collapsible. Holds all the included tools and then some. Easy to store and travel with. The tools are all fairly sturdy as well, all made of plastic and performed very well. Having a set that comes with everything makes things a lot easier. I would recommend!!!
