Construction is well done and works well with my dogs and cats
Wasnât hard to instal if you know how to work with tools. Hardest part was getting my door off the hinges to cut the hole in my door. As for the dog door this is working great. I donât have it on the outside door but from my inside door to my outside Inclosed porch. But itâs working great. Doesnât seem to be letting heat or cool air out when I close the door and when I open it so my animals can walk in an out the flap does a good job from letting bugs and others in etc. will take every dog, cat or pet time to be comfortable to go thru the door but having a few pets of each I noticed some will go thru it quickly and keep using it from then and some pets will be scared of the door at first but as time goes on they get used to it. Now my pets can go in and out as they please when I decide to leave that door open for em

An Easy Install, And It Works Perfectly!
I received the unit; it was well packaged and arrived intact with no damage.I have a drywall interior and a Stucco exterior, with the right tools it is a breeze, and it performs well.My dog was excited to come and go at his pleasure…he seemed reticent to go through it, but as I gently “helped” him to the great outdoors, he patiently waited outside for me to open the sliding door, I won the battle! He figured out that if he wanted to come in that there was only one option.Tip: especially for rural dwellers, but even urban dwellers the slide panel blocking entry from unwanted raccoons and feral cats are a must. Something to remember when going away or going to bed at night…or if you have a “mud hound” that likes to play on rainy days!

Great for cold weather, built strong, and stays closed, but lets small cats through easily!
Great build quality and easy to understand design. The plastic feels flexible but strong and the slider door holds in place well. The flaps are very insulated and having the double flaps makes a big difference in cold weather. This was very easy to install and came with a full template which really helped with the wall cuts. The universal design is great, because my exterior walls are a lot thicker than a standard interior wall. The only downside is the size, this was my mistake, but it is wider than the studs I wanted to put this between. Keep an eye on the size and measure the distance between your studs or you will need to make some big changes to your wall.

The pet door is working fine
I installed mine through interior drywall and an exterior stucco wall. I used rivets to fasten the interior sleeve. Overall took me about 1 hours but most of that time was running to home depot to get the right blade for my angle grinder to cut through the stucco. I have a German Sheppard and a small lap dog. Both are currently using the product after some training. I believe the product was as advertised and was a good buy.
